How come ( 14 G in and 23 g out) ?? As I know, the Lavazza grames for super crema bland it's 7.5 g + - 0.5 for single shot espresso; please correct me if I'm mistaking .

I drink this coffee everyday. Delonghi ec685 and Lavazza super crema. Seems bit weak! Is it the bean or the vastly underpowered Delonghi ec685? Don't know

I think it may be the machine. What grinder are you using? I would guess the bean needs to be ground finer. Are you using the pressurized portafilter? Most of these types of machines will choke out if you grind as fine as it should.

What have you done regarding the water with Linea Mini? I just got mine and I'm really worried about limescale etc.

I set the water temperature to 92 °C.

@@ArtyHome Sorry, I mean the quality of water. Do you use a specific spring water, do you use a softner in the reservoir or maybe filtered water, reverse osmosis? I have just purchased those packets of mineral dust that you dilute in distilled water. But to be honest I am totally lost as to what to do with the water.

I use a reverse osmosis drinking water filter. I'm not sure if this fits the La Marzocco or not, but there aren't any issues yet.

@@ArtyHome just FYI using a distilled or RO water can cause corrosion to the boiler and various metal piping in the machines.
