When I watched this video, I realized how wonderful you are as a mom, my mom is an alcoholic and she was divorced, and she was horrible to me. I had tears as I watched you spend time with your kids in that special 15 extra minutes before school and I hope that you realize how great of a job you are doing, God bless you and your whole family!

It's so beautiful to see the love you shower all your children with. You know exactly what each of them needs. One needs a hug, one needs an encouraging word, one get a pat on the shoulder, one get a loving smile and one needs to have an adult conversation with you, and you manage to get that in, in the middle of everything you have to do in the morning. You are an amazing mother! Bless you! Have a good week!

Good morning! Anyone that says being a homemaker is not a job has never been a homemaker! You are like the Marines, you get more done in the morning than most people do all day. All blessings come from God and it’s wonderful that you give thanks everyday. I do also. I would be nowhere without His grace. Thank you for the lovely video. God bless you and your family.

Ruth Ann you are amazing.❤❤The gift you are giving your children is priceless. They may not know this yet, but when they are older they will recognize it as such and treasure these times. 💝 The simple mundane things are where the joy of living is. I love how you frame things like “Harrison “gets”to sweep or Elvin “gets”to wash dishes, because it is such a privilege to do these things. Not everyone is able to do simple tasks like this or they live in a place that they are not afforded a life where they could, and they would give anything to have these tasks to do. I try to express this to people I’ve known who complain about “having” to go to work, I gently say, “you could look at it like you “get” to go to work, 🤷‍♀️ what a blessing. As a person who became disabled and unable to work, I know I would be thrilled and grateful if I could go. It’s about perspective. I love that you live like this and are teaching this to your children. God bless and keep you all. ❤️🙏

First of all, I love the upbeat music. I can't keep my toes from tapping along with it. Secondly, it is amazing to me how well organized you are. The idea of each child having their own responsibilities, and changing them around, is genius. They learn lifelong skills. They will always know how to work with a purpose and will always be dependable. To rise so early, do chores, play, prayers, shoved into such a short time is nothing short of remarkable. Well done, Ruth Ann. I love the music, the chores, the recipes, the Zimmerman's. We all love you. Merry Christmas to your family.

With your family…childhood chores are not even chore like…the kids have animals of all sorts to greet and feed and gather from and/or milk! How fun is that!! Even on a really cold morning…wakes you up and sets you for the day…bonus…someone is making you a hot breakfast and your lunch is almost prepared for you! Your children are so very fortunate to have parents set such a marvellous example for them! I absolutely love Dave the donkey (wish we had more footage of him lol) and the pig family is just so so precious! Xxx

Off to the barn every morning to help my cousins for hand milking, gathering eggs, cleaning the pig pens and feeding all the animals❣️Love how your cats follow you to the barn. My cousins didn’t love their daily life as much as their winter & summer visitor cousins did, but we all agree how many great memories we have of those cold Iowa mornings & hot Iowa afternoons doing chores together.
