@@bukamamusic its a turbocharged diesel engine which uses turbine type fan similar to a jet engines fan ... hence it sounds like jet engine .... keeping aside this the engine used in this loco is a normal piston driven engine only with a turbocharger equipped

Do you know Time!!!!. Latest Locos have a Valve connected to the Horn so that the pressure can be controlled which in turns control the Volume of the horn. Old Locos do not have that option but new Versions of WDG/WDP have them....

The motive of this shorts is to highlight and enjoy the draconian turbine like startup sound of an EMD amidst the beautiful morning drop . Which with or without a single or dual cab wouldn’t have made a difference!! So ✌🏻

yar station par tw engine off nhi hota......rule ke hisab se .......kya ye gaadi station par thi?

aaj kal sab off karte hein .. i think as per rule if loco will not be used for an hour or so they switch off and then start. it takes 15 minutes before you can move the loco but yes the diesel is saved when they turn off. not much diesel is used in switching on a loco
