I used to drive diesel locos,I agree this is so much simpler and easy to run...compared to diesels.

A very powerful engine for fret trains mostly. It delivers some 9000 kW and a tractive effort over 700 kN. The engine is designed by Alstom and the Indian Railways, but includes several components from ASEA Brown Boveri. The electronic control panel is quite similar to those we have in France in Alstom engines ! This machine a beast !

no, that's not the correct reason, actually they have to fill checklist every time they start the locomotive, which take more than 20 minutes

its actually easy.........but requires much experience, and starting is difficult another thing is, it is more difficult to stop train at proper position than driving

It is also possible that the touch screen is deliberately switched off or not used. Mera touch screen laptop hai, but I hardly use it. Odd thing.

Battery CB should have a protective covering on the terminals, I'm not sure whether the Battery CB has enough potential to harm locopilot with a risk of electric shock but the open terminals can definitely cause some sort of shortcircuit.

Its way easy than starting g9 or p7. In that i have to check all ckt breakers of sb 1 sb 2. This loco is good. Snd spacious also
