On the 28th of February 2018, I got down to Mornington Shire to catch up with the trucks that were being used in the old Green-Waste contract that Cleanaway had. To my surprise I happened to visit on their last day of the contract which I had no idea about. One particular truck I was after was this Euro4 Superior Pak Raptor which was purchased for the Cleanaway Melton contract in 2008. The truck was kept on as a spare and used in multiple contracts around Melbourne and only just finished up not so long ago in the Latrobe contract. Unfortunately this truck has now been scrapped and has been replaced by a few younger Dennis Eagle Superior Pak Side arms from the old Moonee Valley contract.
Cleanaway ran a few Side arms in the Green-Waste contract over in Mornington and it was one of those contracts where you could go to if you wanted to film something old. I do have a couple of more Cleanaway Mornington videos to throw up in the future. The Green-Waste collection is now handled by Solo Resource Recovery which now run a pretty big show up in the Mornington Peninsula region.
