During the 2016 Christmas period, I got down to Manningham to video the new Solo trucks, which had only been on the job for about 5 months at the time. One of the reasons for my visit was to look at #2613, which was in pristine condition handling the recycling.
You will notice on these Manningham Recycling trucks that they are a low-profile 30m³ body. These bodies were specially designed for the Manningham contract due to the amount of trees in the area, especially in the bush parts of the council. Otherwise, you would be hitting trees if you were to put a large standard recycling body truck in Manningham. Off the top of my head the only other low-profile body that was made was for Bayside Garbage and that truck is now kicking about in NSW.
Anyway, we see this driver tackling his run at ease on a hot summer morning in Doncaster. #2613 doesn't look like this anymore and looks rather tired. I've been sitting on this video for a long time, so it's time I let it free for everyone to view. You can't beat the look of a fresh Acco and now it's nothing but memories. How the time has gone by so fast! Enjoy!!! ;) ;) ;)
