Put the name of your hotel up, so others can follow even if their not on your pending tours. That man deserves it. Maybe a location link, let the world know, that would be a kind return jesters for him. Ride well, ride safe. Lovely video.

There is no greater buzz than taking off on a foreign tour and living like a nomad for a few weeks. True freedom only understood by us motorcyclists. The one thing itchy boots has taught me is that the people with the least, are the happiest and most generous.

I knew a Moroccan lorry driver that used to come into my place of work. Mohammed was one of THE nicest guys I have ever met. His smile and warmth was infectious. Made my day whenever I saw him. The hospitality I've seen in these videos has confirmed what he told me about Morocco and it's people. 🙌🏼

Richy, the locals are so proud of their country, they are so generous and happy to explain everything to a foreigner. We ended up on the back of two waiters motorcycles who took us into the Medina In Marrakesh so we didn’t pay tourist rates for our purchases!! It was one of the best experiences anywhere in the world. We can’t wait to get back. Brilliant videos and it’s brought back so many fond memories. Thank you 🙏

Mate. This is exactly the feeling I got from Vietnam, everyone soo happy with barely a thing to their name, made welcomed in every village I passed through and stayed. I’m soo happy you’ve had the chance to experience this and it’s something that will stay with you forever. Sure makes things back home feel a lot more soulless to be honest! I think this is quite possibly the best KZfaq video I've ever watched. Exquisitely filmed, superb narration with emotion that's off the scale. I've only been to Morocco once, Marrakech, but like you i found the folk there to be so welcoming, sincere and warm, i loved it. Absolute bedlam in the Medina yet i couldnt have felt safer walking around in the evening. The calls to prayer were also beautiful to hear. Strangely i was with a mate of mine this morning, having a fryup whilst his bike was being MOT'd. He's recently emigrated to the uk from ZA, also an Africa Twin rider, who was telling me all about his various tours down there, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Zim, Zambia..... between the two of you, it's got me properly fired up today!

I've said this before on your superb bike travels, what you're doing is truly living. People here in England used to be contented with their lot but we are screwed left right and centre now by taxes and having to work longer and longer to exist. I personally wouldn't like to live like those people you are coming across but I would be happy if our country was a place where hard work and a love for our country was actually encouraged.

We can fully relate to your ride experience & emotions👌. The people's warmth and friendly interaction touches one's heart. Probably among one of the best people we met in the 28 odd countries we have travelled on motorcycle. The landscapes are breathtaking and most times you have it all to yourself! Only on our last day back to Casablanca we had miserable weather with continuous heavy rain, very strong winds & biting cold....anyways all part of the adventure! But for the locals the rains were god sent after a very long dry spell.

Hiya mate I am in Lincolnshire also. I took a journey on my 411cc Himlayan over to France, luckily having a friend halfway thru France where I could stay to rest for one night & also on the return jouney, the weather was bitterly cold when I left, it got warmer as I got furthur over into France then into Spain. Took 5 days to get down to the bottom of Spain. I was heading to Morocco with another guy on an Africa Twin. Meeting another guy on a Tenere to go over into Morocco with. We rode in the Bardenas Reales and a beautiful part of Spain in the park nationale Serrania de Cuenca. I got to Cartagena in Spain last December '22 then had to tap out & graciously staying at a friends Fathers old apartment until I could get some parts for the bike from Alicante, this is out of tourist season for this part of Spain and everywhere was quiet for the Spanish Navidad which goes on right into January, I shimmed my cush rubbers with a bicycle inner tube I managed to get hold of and take out and replace a worn out split link that had caused my issues & was one reason for my having to stop. In hindsight I would have possibly been ok once I got over into Morocco as it would have just been business as usual over there but problems with ferry times, tiredness from travel etc, it was the right decison for me to make at that time, I planned a route back to the UK taking me thru again some stunning parts of Spain including Teruel and across parts of the French Alps, I came back in the January '23 solo. Altogether my trip was 30 days, 15 on the bike, 15 off, tho most of the off days I was fettling the bike or riding around locally. It can be done buddy & I hope you get out there more and explore. You don't need a big bike, bikers travel the world on all sorts of bikes & scooters. I did all this on a modest budget, if it had been warmer I would have camped but being a colder part of the year I just booked whatever was around 30 euros to 50euros & I stayed in a mix of places, sometimes a place all to myself, sometimes a hotel / motel type place. As one biker to another keep exploring and hope to see you out on the country lanes sometime.

@@gzw7899 Sounds like you are a proper adventurer. I have a few gravel trails planned for this year. I might go and do the Kielder forest drive and the 3 lochs forest drives in May. I also want to do the Peddars way frim Thetford to Hunstanton. Got a few rides planned. Will probably do B&B. 👍

@@dogzero1 That sounds awesome buddy, Would love to do Keilder myself, as well as Holy Island down that neck of the woods. Plan on some Scotland touring also, walked Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and Loch Ness from Fort William to Inverness in my early 20s, Not the same 3 lochs you are on about, that looks great also! I cycled from here to my brothers in Essex also in my early 20s, remember going thru Thetford forest visiting Grimes graves. My next journey is taking my Dads ashes back over to Wales so he can be buried with my nana & grandad near Cardiff. He passed away on the 5th Feb and we was joking about him coming with me on the bike a week before, it was his wishes for when he left this world to journey onto the next one. Stay well buddy, look after yourself and those around you.

Loving the fact you’re on your own but because you’ve taken us with you; you’re probably talking more than any of us would on a ride with other people :-) Genuinely loving this series dude, what a treat!

Whilst I don’t agree with the Moroccan way of treating their animals, especially the donkeys, horses etc, their hospitality and unselfish life style puts us here in the UK to shame. You were bang on the money with how you described our throw away lifestyle here in the UK. I’ve enjoyed all the episodes to date from this series but I actually felt quite emotional with this episode, you captured everything so beautifully and I’m glad you kept it as one long episode 👍

Richy, love your videos, thank you. Worth just underlining for everyone that it is the original V5 that is required and not a copy. I carry both with me for security, and keep them seperate. You "might" be OK with a copy but often not, they want the original registration document. Cheers Stuart
