Wow, finally someone demonstrates how to do Mini (and most UK classics) windscreen rubbers. That tiny strip of chrome inset is so characteristic, most models are too much black or too much chrome visible. Excellent modelling.

Ok...i thought the engine bay was amazing...but now I am amazed at you installing the metal wire around the window. I had a 1973 Toyota like that.

It's like a time machine for me to see that. I have completely restored a real mini from A to Z in the late 90's and even if I restored too in the middle of the 80's a 304 Peugeot convertible (wich was a fabulous car) I was so much in love with my mini ! A little car very practical in Paris so powerful and so funny to drive. She was so beautiful in her metallic orange dress with all its chrome jewels. Oh my god ! I just made the paralell, me who is fan of Marilyn Monroe , actually, I reproduced my idol in the form of a car and unfortunately she finished tragically like her model... RIP M&M

I got that car in real life sitting torn apart in my garage. Even the original is so tiny that my hands seem to be to big how to handle it, but THAT Detail in 1:24??? This is soooo far over the top! My deepest respect!

First of all - RESPECT to you for the awesome detailing of this nearly 40 year old base kit, this is truly being taken to another level!! I have been building this kit since it was released, but only discovered recently that in all this time i have never noticed that the japanese casted the diagonal stiffener in the front panel the wrong way around!! It should point from 11 to 5 o'clock - perhaps something you still manage to implement before completion to make this stunning example picture perfect!! Thank you again for sharing this truly master piece!!

Every video of this build just gets better and better the more it’s going on. Always look forward to seeing this Mini Cooper S build. I think once this model is completed it needs to be sent to Tamiya to show the company how model kits should be manufactured. Brilliant detailing and such perfection by the builder. You sir are a one in a million.

I have watched several other builders' channels, and they are very good, but none I have found reaches your standard of thoroughness and excellence. Astonishing! My new favorite KZfaq channel. The excellent video editing aside... the skill, patience, forethought, creativity and attention to ALL those details is CRAZY! My favorite in this video was the washer fluid bottle. I thought, what's with the angle of the blue fluid, then you placed it on the angled firewall. Genius! Thank you for the inspiration and ideas for my own builds.

More and more surprising works: maximum detail, absolute precision and total cleanliness. It's like the tale of the ugly duckling that becomes a swan !! I could ask you for some information: - which scissors are used to cut the very small pieces from the aluminum rods with great precision ?; - are the battery terminals obtained with a lead wire ?; -for candle pipettes, is the polystyrene dough bent after it has been engraved inside the curve? Thank you and ..... we look forward to other works of art ...

Coming along nicely, as if it was going to go any other way. As I've said before, it's almost insulting to harp on one aspect of a video when the quality is at this level, but I've got to hand it to you on the wiper fluid reservoir. I don't know why that piece stuck with me specifically, but I got a real kick out of it. Something about simple, elegant solutions to problems, I suppose. looking good, and looking forward to the ext one. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Thank you. For the wiper liquid bottle, I wanted to express the liquid in the bottle in a witty way rather than pursuing realism.
