I'm of Irish Blood and English Heart and Morrissey certainly got his dream come true of the time when the English were sick to death of Labour and Tories.

I think in his hiatus he took some classes on / or focused more on / the technicalities of singing. On You Are The Quarry he has the best diction he's ever had in his career. I really do think he met a vocal coach.
