My fave song of his solo career. The Blues sound fits the tune well. "We look to Los Angeles for the language we use / London is dead, London is dead..." 😁 One of the most memorable lines of the Moz; twenty-five years on I still chuckle to it.

Loved this line up. I remember at madstock when morrissey played with madness and he got bottled off stage. I was working with madness and watched it from the side of the stage. I remember morrissey laughing as he came off, he loved it

I can finally see his eyes in this video. Usually one can only see his eyelids, as his brow bone is so pronounced that it casts a shadow over his peepers. Kudos to the lighting person for bounce-lighting Mozza from below. Very pretty shade of blue he's got.

EMI should have released this song as a single from the album when it first came out since it's the best track on there. I noticed that Gary Glitter and Mike Leander aren't mentioned in the song credits because he's nicked the riff from "Rock'n'Roll Part 2" in the middle 8. Great track, and I'd like to see Moz getting back to making more solid rock songs like this. :D

@@suzycreemcheeze446 Yeah. I mean I'm sure he's probably getting paid pretty generously... I don't blame him. It's the only US dates I saw listed and I've never been to Vegas and thankfully my fiance and the stimulus helped with the cost. Just really want to see him live once! I mean, I like Elvis, haha. But I don't think playing Vegas makes him a chubby jumpsuited has-been. (and anyway the video he posted for New Year's, he looks great, he's lost weight.) I think playing a short string of dates at one place is probably a good way to ensure they all are well-attended, vs a ton of dates in all different locations, in these strange times. I don't think it's necessarily going to be a regular thing/the only type of venue he'll ever play anymore. But especially with the world the way it is, I can see the reasoning. I assume there will be covid precautions in place, but I'm vaccinated and will be masked and careful. I know people on KZfaq are quick to judge people, but Morrissey is my favorite singer ever and his songs mean so much to me. I have had a really terrible past few years and this is the first thing in life I've had to be really excited about and look forward to in a long time.

He croons like him, his hair reminds me of Elvis's style and he's worn gold lame`. You see how people's subjectivity causes them to misinterpret things? By the way, Covid has a 99.9% survival rate. Not sure why you felt the need to vaccinate for that lack of a health issue. SCAMdemic much? You DO know that they are saying you need another vaccine six months from now, right? You're buying into their lies. These deceivers don't give one damn about public health. Masks are not good for the health either! Dr. Fauci wrote a paper on the 1918 flu epidemic and how the masks worsened it. Depriving oneself of oxygen and breathing in your own waste is not a brilliant move. 🤡

3:48 so cute, and endearing he loves animals so much, there's much content out there of him with a dog or cat.. while I do think he may have BPD or AvPD after watching many of his interviews and reading the autobiography, I disagree with people who think he is a narcissist. Someone with actual NPD wouldn't be so committed to animals and sing and write with such rich emotion
