I just discovered this as a morrowind fan for years. It was my first real RPG. This is awesome because it reminds me of some of the tunes I would hear in the older final fantasy games.

Love it! I'm used to Auriels Ascension but it's a very similiar track. Do you have any tips on how to git gud at doing harmonics like that? Any tutorial you know of? All i can find is "you can do an harmonic at the 12th fret", and I know how to do that. Help me out if you can.

I didnt start playing elder scrolls until 4, but curious which one do you think has the best soundtrack in your opinion

In many ways I love III-V equally with them all being so different, but I'd say the Morrowind soundtrack is my personal favourite for the incredible atmospheres it invokes!

Morrowind, for sure. So iconic and beautiful. I've barely even played Morrowind but the music still gives me the chills

Morrowind has the most atmospheric and immersive soundtrack, partially due to a minimalist style necessitated by budget and (presumably) hardware constraints. I'd say Oblivion has the best soundtrack overall: It's got more diversity, is more developed yet retains much of the atmospheric feel of Morrowind. Skyrim's music is excellent but the lack of the aforementioned constraints harms the atmosphere at times; the music is more bombastic, layered and tends to stick out from the game itself. In short, it now feels like a soundtrack and not an extension of the experience.

Hi! Yes, I used the Fishman Rare-earth Blend pickup system for this recording. I also use a Rode NT5 and Neumann TLM 102 for stereo mic-ing!

Fret squeak is a little too loud for my taste and I feel takes away from the peacefulness (randomly thinks of cliff racers), but lovely cover nonetheless
