Marara's Ring is one of the rings I always use in my playthroughs. Definitely a good list. I'd put Sorkvild the Raven as well. Just his name and the fact he's supposed to be like a local terror for the area around Dagon Fel. Funny how so many of these mini bosses are in the Sheogorad Region.

Godrod Hairy-Breeks :) I may do a video on some of those bandits lol, thanks for an idea!
@Valkod238 ай бұрын
@@boreanknight Yeah, Godrod Hairy-Breeks resides in the back-most room of Ulummusa just northwest of Pelagiad. There's only one other bandit, a Dunmer female by the name of Terenu Uveran and she's far less of a threat. Godrod himself sits at level 12 and posses almost 100 strength, a Steel Warhammer, and something like 60=70+ Blunt Weapons skill, so he's all but guaranteed to hit any fresh player and is even a moderate threat at later levels unless you hit him with a custom Damage Attribute (Strength) spell to prevent him from moving or his hard-hitting attacks in melee. I consider him to be part of Morrowind's unspoken extended tutorial, much like how exploring Seyda Neen and it's surrounding areas teaches stuff to the player by their own learning through playing, Godrod teaches the player that you don't always have to fully explore an area if you're not ready. Manwe's Guild Dues for the Balmora Mage's Guild and the Dwemer dungeon deeper within the ruins where you find the Dwemer Puzzle Box also teach this lesson as well. One example of such lessons taught to the player is alternative ways of completed guild quests or by having the stuff on hand immediately, like Sugar-Lips habasi wants the player to steal diamonds from the alchemist in Balmora. Doing that means not being able to sell diamonds to her in the future, but if you explore north of Seyda Neen along the coast, past the ancestral tomb where the Mentor Ring artifact is located, you'll stumble across a wrecked ship and in the hold you'll find a chest with 3 guaranteed diamonds inside as loot, so you can nab those and just hand one over to Sugar-Lips Habasi instead.

@JoeBlow958188 ай бұрын
I know this is off topic but I want opinios on this
@WeWillAlwaysHaveVALIS8 ай бұрын
I think you are shooting yourself in the foot personally. It's mearly a question of "when" rather than "if" that OpenMW is going to meet with the prerequisites that you listed and in the meantime you are missing out on a fair degree of things. I mean the massively improved stability alone is personally a good enough reason for myself. However having said that, I am most certainly a "each to their own" sort of person and I am not passing any sort of judgement on you for wanting to wait, and in fact if things were a little bit different from the way they are now with OpenMW I would likely be waiting to change over myself. So my advice/opinion is to carry on playing in the fashion that you are happy with but to keep a close ear to the ground as the OpenMW guys are updating things with surprising regularity (I mean in comparison to the pace of things in the past) and as such I really don't think that it will be too long until it reaches a state where you will be happy with it. Having said that, let's just both be thankful for the fact that there are so many talented and dedicated people who share our love for this truly fantastic game that all these years later development of mods is still highly active and to an ever increasing standard of both quality and scope. I mean I personally can't believe how far something like TR has come. Those types of mods always seemed like absolute pipe dreams to me back in the day, but here we are with virtually all the mapping having being completed and now the world is being populated by not only NPCs but with innumerable stories and quests being written to a standard that wouldn't have been out of place to us all those years ago. I am also very excited to give this AI driven voiced dialogue mod a try. The very idea that MW would be entirely voice acted one day would have absolutely blown my little mind back in the day. Anyways, maybe this wasn't the type of response you were after, but I hope you take it in the spirit in which it was intended. I hope you are doing well and I wish you all the best for the future, here's to us both enjoying many more years with Morrowind!

@@JoeBlow95818 I tried OpenMW but it wasn't for me, yet. I'm still very grateful for it and may try again in future. For now I'm happy with modded vanilla.
