In ES 6 I hope there is a bandit faction we can join. I just hope factions are greatly improved as a whole.

I just rationalised a huge bandit presence simply because this isn't Cyrodiil. The other provinces unless they have a standing army have to rely on the Imperial Legions, and SKyrim especially is a wide open and mountainous region, with defense relegated without the Legions to Jarl's city guards, and they don't always have the numbers needed to always deal with bandits. Even more so now with the Civil War drawing the attention of Jarls away from the wild and focusing on reinforcing their side's forces, being ready for attacks by the other side, or havign to worry about their own problems as some of the Holds have major issues worse then bandits.

Interestingly whenever I encountered Eisa there were always two bandits fighting against the others, a Khajiit named Rajiir & Eisa herself. If Eisa dies or Rajiir survives either Rajiir or both of them try and kill you straight away after the bandits are gone. But if just Rajiir dies Eisa listens to reason. I found that to be an interesting detail. I found it also depends on the person too, because I had that version, my girlfriend has also had that encounter, but it seems in some of our friends versions of the games the encounter changes/glitches and either Rajiir never shows up, both die instantly no matter what, or they're always hostile. I've only found one person who managed to talk to Rajiir, but his dialogue is just a standard "stand aside or die" type of conversation. No matter what version you get it seems the only fully working dialogue encounter is with Eisa & every other situation with Rajiir present is glitched. There was also one friend who had the encounter where it wasn't Rajiir but a random unnamed bandit that changed race to all the common bandit types upon replay, but 5/10 times it'd be a Khajiit. I'm not sure whether these are glitches/individual errors with the quest, or whether in-game actions affect this encounter prior to meeting them. Just that some people's versions of the game seem to have different versions of the encounter, but none of them allow you to mention their previous bandit camp.

Honestly, I like the mod more than the Skyrim as a standalone game. Sure, the mod is smaller and there are not that much quests to do, especially in comparison to Tamriel Rebuilt where you bump into all sorts of random events/locations/quests when you move between major points on map, but the atmosphere of the place is just awesome. It feels both fitting to Nords you know from Morrowind and it has those nostalgic vibes from Daggerfall or Might and Magic games for some reason, especially in places like Karthwasten. Locations in the mod are fantastic. Some places like Mirilstern just explode your eyes in awe - not only having a very cool layout, but also tons of custom assets and models. Rocky inpassable moutains, or rather highlands with cliffs are very refreshing in comparison to Morrowind landscapes, because they made traveling harder and more commiting, when there are only several spots you are able to get onto cliff (unless you plan to use levitation potions or save the hustle with TCL). The first time I've seen cave interiors it was amazing - again, like with surface locations - it's fantastic to see so many new assets. One of caves I've seen was so expansive it looked like an exterior location or some huge underground chambers like from I don't know - Minecraft lol - in a good way. Another thing I'd like to stres is that texture quality of the mod is fantastic - they fit the game, they are interesting and they look good. Some items are probably not yet finished and have this odd lack of shading to it, making them feel modded at the first glance and less pleasing to collect, but the mod is in progress. While points of interest on the map are fantastic, forests and wilderness between them can feel repetetive and somewhat procedurally generated. I know that landscapes were made manually, but that's the vibe you get when traveling through the open world until you bump on one of locations. It would be cool to find some more random features or regions being different from each other depending on geography. Suprisingly enough, personally I prefered wilderness from Bloodmoon. NPCs look very good, however I think it would be cool to see some more uncommon races here and there like you do on Vvardenfell, because everywhere besides Karthwasten you basically meet only nords. I'm not talking about some fancy unfitting stuff, like suddenly meeting whole bands of argonians, but would be cool to see people from other human races from neighbouring provinces from time to time. Quests in the mod are very enjoyable, but I think it could use some chainquests / mini-campaigns as well, to get the player more immersed in a certain location they are currently questing in. Morrowind has this type of narration to it, due to being open world, that you build a good picture of the place you are in mostly through how it looks and through quests you can pick there. For example, Almas Thirr from TR was solely focused on Hlaalu vs Indoril conflict, and how the city tries to strike balance and stay neutral despite the strong influence of both Houses. Andothren had this beautiful questline for Thieves Guild focused on rebuilding it, bonding with your guild companions, dirty laundry of a nobleman living in the city and the fallout of the conflict with Comonna Tong. Both of those has build the picture how those cities operate, what topics are they focused and what might an average day of the citizen of one of those may look like. I think Skyrim would benefit greatly on stuff like that, because it simply builds this bond between the player and the location, making it more memorable, because you have a lot of excuses to spend time there and to interact with the place and people living in it. New coins to collect! Quest with a mystery of murdered chickens! Overall, fantastic stuff, can't wait to see more of the mod! It's a big shame Bethesda after releasing Morrowind gave us players only cesspool. Both Cyrodil and Skyrim sounded very fascinating and full of atmosphere in books you could find in Morrowind, yet when those two got their games released, it was this sterile, bland garbage with 0 character.

I always found it morbidly funny that Skjor was next in line to be Harbinger and was all "Ill be fine. Dont you worry" and then here we are a few days or months (however long it takes those who are doing the questline) later and Skjor goes before Kodlack. Its the irony for me

I also always have an axe (i like the decap perk) and shield and currently im doing a battle mage playthrough where im collecting spells and trying to up the mage portion.... However Ima STILL have my soul axe and soul or other elemental bow. My point being Im here for those thugs. This time my character is a breton. Ill prolly start that line after i do the eldergleam one (i didnt trigger the dragons yet but I do have a house and two kids)😂

Most of the time we wonder if its cut content, it more than likely is. The whispering door was meant to be longer than it was but time waits for noone and they were behind so, it shortened to what it is now. I wouldve loved another "Where is my child" sitch. Plus what if she saw her child happy and decided to let her stay instead of kidnap? We could use persuasion to get the adoptive parents to allow their daughter time with her bio mom. Not like a custody thing exactly but visitation (especially since she doesnt have her own place yet).

Fort Greenwall was always the most surreal part of this "bandits are everywhere" problem. Its quite seriously just a few steps, less than 2 minutes away from Riften ingame, is a massive border fort active in the middle of a war, and is necessary to cross in order to even reach Riften, but everyone sits on their haunches and only seems to reclaim it once the war is in full swing and there have been some conquered forts and a fallen Whiterun. What makes this even stranger is the fact that in ESO fort Greenwall is STILL occupied by a completely different group of bandits. Its probably one of the most important fortresses in Skyrim for protecting Riften and the trade road going up towards Windhelm, yet even in the 2nd Era when Riften wasn't even a corrupt shithole taken over by a low-tier Thieves guild that doesn't even seem well earned on their no one seemed to have been able to lift a finger to keep this fort secure so that Riften doesn't fucking starve, and this was during a time when Riften had not only the goddamn fighters guild in presence doing absolutely nothing about it but the Mages guild as well when its easily clear that they could go through such an easy effort to take Greenwall, let alone the Riften guard, if just one single person (not to mention other players) can handle Greenwall's infestation time and time again. So much for Nordic ferocity and bravery. Fun fact: Considering its state in ESO, it seems to be that fort Greenwall has been occupied by bandits for about 948 years since we don't hear anything about its state in the 3rd era. This fort is so important that you'd choke the only road leading into Riften that would matter for the sake of a trade lifeblood, but its been basically this tiny bandit free state for almost a thousand years with nothing clearly having been done about it save for some random bloke coming in and performing a massacre occasionally in the 2nd and 4th era. The world is so gamified in Elder scrolls that its a shock that these states can function without going bankrupt because there just are no efforts done to protect the roads at all even back to Oblivion. Do you remember seeing an actual functioning fort in the HEART OF THE EMPIRE at one of its zeniths? Its like Bethesda can't make an open world without it seeming apocalyptic out of fear of you running out of things to do. Correction: There is at least implications that greenwall was an actual reclaimed settlement in the 3rd era, since it appears as a regular town in Arena. Though the timeframe on how long this lasted doesn't really exist save that it was reclaimed before 3E 389 minimum.
