I love the idea that some events are immutable, and that Liu Kang's desire to enforce peace with this new timeline may eventually end up leading to worse fates for everyone else involved

They’re for sure gonna build Liu Kang up to be the villain of the next game. It’d also be pretty cool if they took inspiration from the MK9 arcade endings and built Shang Tsung up to be the hero that stops Liu Kang.

I’m actually hyped for Geras. It’s cool seeing a new character from 11 not get scrapped after 1 appearance. Plus since a lot of characters not in MK11 will be in MK1, it will be interesting to see how he interacts with them and vice versa.

Geras the Guardian of Time and Fire God Liu Kang look like an unstoppable and immovable duo!! Geras just looks perfect! He's going to be a problem online in the right hands with the right kameos. MY GOAT HAS RETURNED!! I didn’t think any of the mk11 new characters were returning but geras was my fav and instantly became a top 3 character in mk history for me. With Kano not being revealed as playable yet I’m glad I still got at least 1 awesome command grab character!

Listen to what Geres is saying cause it is hinting at what the story is gonna go. He mentions that Liu Kang has been relishing in alteration of the timeline, which brings understanding of Kauai Laing as Scorpion to Johnny Cage losing “the glow” to the whereabouts of Hanson. Also, it may explain why the Kameo Characters are here to some degree. Plus, the most important part, Geres mentioned that the “hourglass may have been compromise”, which signifies that MK11 Aftermath DLC both endings of Liu Kang and Shang Tsung endings are both canotical.

Liu Kang’s 2nd fatality is fucking insane and badass and potentially one of the best Mortal Kombat Fatalities so far and one of the best finishers in videogame history

Go back and watch the Lin Kuei trailer. When you hear a voice saying "The Lin Kuei, We've Been Expecting You" That's Geras speaking. Sounds like the Lin Kuei are going to be a problem in this timeline

I think if people thought this game didn’t look as good as 11, this reveal process it wrong. Geras looks incredible, not even necessarily his costume (though his costume is amazing as well) but I just mean the graphic fidelity on him. Everyone has preferences but I think he looks the best out of all the characters we’ve seen (design wise)
