Across all of the recent games, Liu Kang and Kitana have had this incredibly touching tragic love story. They just want to chill and be a normal couple but they keep ending up having to be champions or rulers or gods, robbing them of the chance to just be together in peace.

Not only that, but even though very rewarding and touching, this Liu and Kitana reunion probably means that NRS is trying to say: "Look, we gave what you guys were expecting. This New Kitana now is totally anew, so we are free to do whatever with her", which is not egregious at all, but can indicate that a possible new relationship for the New Kitana is on the table. I mean, we didn't even see the Liu Kang x Kitana be developed at all in 30 years, and now we may see New Kitana in a new relationship, with chances of that be well-developed and put this 30-year legendary couple in the dust.... It sucks. We want to see a full on development on them, not just a kiss, or holding hands... it has been like this for 30 YEARS!!!! I just don't see a context where Titan Kitana is a recurring character in future stories, for them to have this chance, as she has her own timeline =/

Yeah literally every Arcade ending and more is canon, even characters like Kenshi who were not in MK11 have Titan versions because in their reality they were present at the time MK11 happened and were able to kill Kronika.

I realized something while watching this video. With all the other timeline appearing it means that not just the 2 endings from MK11 Aftermath are cannon, but all character endings to all the games are possibly cannon. We spent years wondering what ladder endings were real and had to wait until the following game to find out. Turns out they all were real and we just followed one possible timeline.

Not necessarily. In the past, there was only one timeline the other timelines didn't exist until mk11

@beyond_hazz9778 if that was the case then there would only be the 2 timeline from the end of aftermath. By showing there are timeline where characters like Kitana and Raiden took control, that means things from even before that where changed. By showing characters like Quan Chi as being a titan at the end it means he was still alive during MK 11 during one possible timeline.

@@nickf.6027 maybe Quan Chi wasn't a titan but that outfit of his in the Armageddon wall up sequence suggests he was. It still stands that every ending is now cannon in one timeline or another. That's how you end up with both good and evil versions of every character. Even a good Shao Khan.

Liu Kang being a God at First I was Mixed in MK11 and Aftermath, in MK1 he heard the title of God of Fire, Protector of Earthrealm, and Keeper of Time, Liu Kang was perfected in this Game and redeemed his Character from Death, Love that he reunites with his Kitana even though it’s unclear if it’s Temporarily, it’s strange to see Old Raiden when I’m used to his Younger Counterpart, I Miss Tanya as a Traitorous Deceiver, and Geras being a Force of Good is a Great Fresh of Air especially being played by a different Actor Phil LaMarr which explains why he looks Familiar.

I love that we can see the timeline where Kano was the victor. MK Snowblind was really good and definitely not surprised how that timeline turned out.. although i dont know for sure if it lines up with MK11 ending for him. On another note WB/NRS has an infinite money glitch if all the their future animated features were based off MK 11 endings.

Just think all the story towers in 11 ended with the chosen fighter beating Kronika so everyone of them has there own timeline as the Keeper of Time. Liu Kang is right because every single character that fought Kronika in MK11 in the storymode tower won the hourglass. So there are many different timelines from the original timeline.

Basically all in-game character powers are somewhat not canon in the story itself. Most of them literally didnt use their powers like when they are in battle mode. They just fight like normal people
