Man...to describe the story in one word,its clean.. The graphics, dialog, music,fx,transition to combat And the narrative, you can tell its bulding up right now Its all very clean.

The Kotal Kahn reference made me so happy. Super glad he's still a part of the MK universe. Hoping he's a part of this game or the next. I'm only on chapter 6 so there's still hope. At least if he can be a kombat pack character. I'm good with that... At least.

I have to say that Raiden as Earthrealm Champion is a Great Change for this Character, however I can’t be the Only One who believes this Tournament felt Short and that the Main Roster needed more Characters if they wanted to expand the Story, then again I’m curious about this New Romance between Raiden and Kitana.

⁠⁠@@khiyeezzyboi1440 This Kitana? No. Shutting down Kung Lao’s teasing doesn’t mean she’s into Liu Kang and if you’ve watched the story, you’d know this Kitana isn’t the same Kitana from MK9-11. This Kitana views Liu Kang as her creator and father’s friend which he is. She asks him about his relationship with his actual Kitana in a dialogue.

@@marcusfrm6263I’ve finished the story. It’s the best. Ppl remember the Mk9 story being better than it actually was. MK1’s world-building and character writing are worlds better than anything the series has done before. MK9 didn’t have that terrible Nitara VA, though. She’s awful.

Mk1 doesn’t compare cuz the ending was all over the place and only one nigga died in sindel. Like seriously? Only one death? The only thing helping this is that it looks like a movie it doesn’t check any of the boxes I said but fights. The best parts about the story was the origin but I gotta knock it down a few points because the ending was so subpar that they just started doin shi

I hope y’all see the mk9 lines. Like the one where raiden talks about Johnny to liu kang “what do you see in him” and liu Kang says “he is a hero raiden, though he may not yet know it” in mk9 raiden said the same thing to liu kang and vice versa. And the “I hope we meet again under different circumstances”
