Yeah, the transition from fully voiced cutscenes to completely silent text scrolls is very awkward, but MK: Onslaught still has way more effort put into it than I was expecting. The game looks really good (though the animation is a little rough and janky) and the story seems pretty interesting so far. The game just doesn't have the same budget as 9, X, or 11 and these dialogue scenes were the best option. It's not too annoying and the only thing left at this point is whether the gameplay is good or not. In a Mortal Kombat game, you NEED to have a good fighting system, especially since their experimenting with mobile RPG's with this one. Fingers crossed. 🤞🤞

The writing and dialogues are actually much better than what most of the people in the comments are saying tho. I genuinely find the storyline more interesting and engaging than MK 11’s story, even in its wonky animation, lack of voiceover, and text Plus some of these dialogues (especially the Johnny ones) are genuinely hilarious and keep me engaged

Is it me or MK's story mode only has two instances: people fighting, and people standing and talking like it's a TV drama? There's no mid point.
