Awesome that Lewis gave a shout out to the stunt crew. Without these guys selling the hits, we wouldn't have all of these great fight scenes! Looking forward to Mortal Kombat!

Lewis' dad is a respected stuntman, and Lewis has done stunt work himself, so I'm sure he grew up respecting the work that goes into it.

He definitely seems like the kind of a guy you'd be able to work with for that long every day. Watched a video with a stunt guy talking about Jamie Foxx, and he said "the thing people need to understand about film making is that the hours are long, scenes are often done at night, you're away from your family. The lead actor needs to be bringing that up beat energy and generally just being a leader for the team to get through". Lewis clearly loves the job and is making the whole thing a blast. Though I also love how humble he is, stating "it's a lot" and also praising the unsung heros like the stunt coordinators. Certainly a mentality we should take with us in any field.

I think Lewis Tan has the “It” factor going for him. He’s a charismatic dude. He might be able to become the kind of pure action star that Hollywood has been missing since the 80’s. Let’s hope this is a breakout role for him.

I think that's a bygone era for a reason though. Most traditional action movies and pure action stars have been exiled to the straight-to-DVD bin. Frankly since the rise of Super Hero movies audiences crave more with their action than the stiff chessy stories of yesteryear. You have oscar contender actors like Heath Ledger, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale and Michael C Jordan providing emotionally stirring performances and thrilling action scenes. Before it was either really built guys like Swarzenegger or great martial artists like Van Damme, stumbling through dialogue to get to the action. Now you can have Chris Pratt make people cry, laugh and sit on the edge of their seats while simultaneously providing a visual buffet. I think the action itch is being scratched by these Event Cinema franchises.

Tne entire starcast of Mortal Kombat seem to be such cool and nice people. Joe Taslim, Hiroyuki Sanada, Josh Lawson, Lewis Tan, Mehcad Brooks and Jessica McNamee, all seem to be really cool people. All of them deserve more movies. I love you all. Love from an Indian Mortal Kombat fan.

I like how they went outside of the 8711 stunt team for this movie. No disrespect to Stalheski, Leitch and 8711, it's just nice to see more variety in Hollywood action movies. Excited to see what Seng Kawee comes up with for the fights!

Loved Mortal Kombat & seeing how Lewis Tan prepared for the role, I’ve grown a tremendous respect for him. I see pure passion and discipline and can see Lewis being one of the next torch holders for action films. Definitely has that leading actor A list vibe to em. I hope Lewis Tan reaches the moon. This is amazing. I loved it. What was great is to see an actor and a martial artist enjoy their day, their craft and their training. Lewis Tan pointed out the best thing about this approach to exercise, with Martial Arts it's the people you're surrounded with and train with that help you come a better fighter. This felt like such a healthy approach to training. I can't wait until Mortal Kombat comes out in the UK. Hoping to see it on the big screen.

No disrespect intended, but Tae Kwon Do is pronounced Teh Kwon Do, not Tai Kwon Do. I took Tae Kwon Do and our Korean instructor made sure we pronounced it correctly.🥋
