Though it is selfish for Hanzo to still care more about his vengeance than anything else, when Hanzo said that Quan Chi "cost him his one chance to have his them restored" he was telling the truth. What he meant is that Quan Chi pushed him to murder (Bi-Han) SubZero. He was going to spare Subzero during their fight in the tournament to agree to Raiden's terms, but Quan Chi then showed Scorpion false depictions of what happened and misdirected his vengeance.

@@maxgemstone7257 To be fair, Quan Chi kinda needed to die since he let himself get captured so D’Vorah could bring the amulet to him past earthrealm’s defenses, so either way I feel like it was inevitable.

@@hightidekraken It doesen't make sense because he would've killed Quan Chi 20 years ago after being freed from the spell. He could've easily waited for Raiden to restore the other revenants and THEN kill him. Hanzo is a selfish c***.

44:33 Well yes and no. If you remember, Scorpion did hesitate to kill Bi-Han *Sub-Zero's brother* until Quan Chi started playing mind games with him, which filled him with rage and burn Bi-Han.

Fun fact: there's a theory saying that revenants are much weaker than their normal, alive selves. That's why revenants Liu Kang and Kung Lao, the MK OGs, are beaten by others.

Just gonna put this out there: after you finish off MKX and MK11's cutscenes, you should do the ones for Injustice 1 & 2. Really enjoying seeing your reactions to these, so definitely want to see more. By the way, Kung Jin is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch. He was Adam, the second Black Ranger in Power Rangers. He's also done a ton of anime, like Ichigo in Bleach and Vash the Stampede in Trigun.

44:18 no it was Quan chi that manipulated scorpion into killing bi-han. Scorpion stopped and wasnt going to kill him but Quan chi went into his head and started showing him scenes of his families death.

After you finish the game cutscenes, you should check out the Mortal Kombat animated movie series that started back in 2020, there are 3 movies so far with the 4th releasing later this year and they're pretty cool!

44:30 That actually was Quan Chi’s fault, in MK 9 when he had beating Sub-zero (Bi-Han) it was Quan Chi who showed him the death of his family again. Gaslighting him to gaslight Sub-zero.

Hey guys, u must read mkx comic, its around of 36 volumes. In that way you will understand or get to knw much things that are not explained in mkx game movie. This comic is a bridge between mk9 or mk reboot and mkx. You will get the ans of = - how sub zero is not triborg in mkx, that he died as triborg - who is kotal kahn - who is erron black - what is the reiko accords - how kenshi comes in main story - where is goro And much more information u will get, just read mkx comic.

Remember Scorpion was gonna spare Bi-Hans life and get his family back but Quan Chi showed up and showed Scorpion false visions of Bi-Han who was actually Quan Chi killing his Clan, his wife, and his son which reignited Scorpion rage and hatred into killing Bi-Han. Had that not happened Scorpion would've had his family back. So Hanzo was right the whole thing was Quan Chi fault not Scorpion.
