Mortal Shell - All Lore Items Inscriptions & Etchings (Seeker Of False Truths Trophy / Achievement)

There are a total of 36 Lore items to collect in Mortal Shell. There are 4 areas where these items are located and they are Fallgrim, Shrine Of Ash, Crypt of Martyrs, & Seat of Infinity. There are 19 Inscriptions, and 17 Etchings located in the game. The etchings are hidden and you have to randomely swing at walls to find them.

Thank you very much for this video. I got the achievement 8-) But it was a bit complicated, because I already had killed the Martyr boss and parts of the monolith area were not accessable anymore. Also after killing this boss you can't activate the etchings anymore for some reason. Starting a new game plus was the solution for that problem.

Are you talking about tarsus in the ice area? Your saying when you defeated him you couldn't activate the etchings in his area?

@@NonstopTrophiesI'm sorry, I meant the boss in the monolith area, Crucix in the library. But I already beat all bosses and declined to play a new game plus at first, because I wanted to get the collectables.

@@NonstopTrophies Hi! I also couldn't activate the etchings in the Seat of Infinity after killing the boss. So I think the op is correct.

They cant be activated if you've already beaten the boss in that area. I thought he was referring to another area at first. But every other area you should still be able to obtaib the etchings even after the boss is beaten

You can get ones you missed on NG+. Don't need to find them again, although you can uncover them all again for the sake of getting the item.

Damn it I followed this to a T and no trophy :( The only reason I can think of is being hit by an enemy while holding X on the text which meant it disappeared but does that even matter?

If I had to guess, I would say you didn't read the etchings after uncovering them.

Trophy popped for me at etching #29 on first playthrough. Did anyone else experience this?

Yes, you only need the etchings for the trophy or achievement, so 29 is the last etching in the video.

@@NonstopTrophies while I've got you, do you know if you can get the forever alone trophy on New Game + or do you HAVE to start a new game from the beginning?

I never tested that out. It may not work for the reason of you dont start from the very beginning. You actually start back in a shell which at that point would void out the trophy. So i'm pretty sure you need to start from a new save.

@@Kranitoko you could try to renounce all shells (obsidian Foundling) in the NG. Beat the Endboss with him and then you should start the NG+ with the foundling.

That should only be in the area of seat of infinity

@@NonstopTrophies so you're telling me I gotta restart this game to get the trophy because it won't spawn after I kill the boss in that specific area only? This game is filthy and pathetic
