My best friend showed me this song the day before he killed himself in his parents garage,17 years of age. I cry every time I hear this, but it’s beautiful and reminds me of Liam everytime I listen to it. It was a Wednesday and everything was as normal, please I beg, be there for you friends there are so many things I wish I had done/said at the time but when they’re gone, late is as good as never. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, our lifetime is but a blip on the timeline of forever. 💕

@dedgalo8773 жыл бұрын
Man, it was not your fault! I cannot relate to how you feel because, fortunately, no one close to me has ever committed suicide, but I can't even number the amount of times I thought of ending my sad life.. the first time I can colorfully recall the memory, I was 12 and locked my door with my bed and was ready to jump from a 2nd floor head on, because I imagined my actual life, today with 27 and not being able to love someone.. this is literally what is causing those thoughts on me. The only time they ever ended lasted 2 years, when I found my first love (meaning the first time I loved someone who loved me back), and for those 2 years I endured hunger (like 1-2 bowls of rice a day for weeks on) on 14h shifts doing close to nothing most days because my revenue depended on how much trips I sold to tourists (tuk tuk driver in portugal) and when lost her.. man I already had harsh insomnias .. I just added a nervous depression to it and in 2018 I almost put myself in front of a train. I actually have good friends, I know I could count on them but they cannot provide me with happiness. Shit is just the way it is, do you think I find my ex at fault ?? of course not, she was an angel for me for some years after we broke up, did that stopped me from wanting to end my life ? No.. will medication do ? No, by the time the medication's effect ends I will be even in worse shape than before.. Only pure luck and timing will help, I tried everything apart from what I cannot control.. I guess what I am trying to say is that you should not regret things that you wish you had done or said over something you, unfortunately, will never know if would really make a difference, otherwise you will just get caught in a bad loop :/ I am sorry dude I am talking without knowing any of you and I feel a bit awful for this, but I cannot stand feeling people suffering because someone is gone from their life's. I hope you can find peace within yourself ! Best luck, stay strong :)

I’m 19 years old and idk why I’m venting on this right here rn It just feels right you know? But I’m high rn and life isn’t so well I have a lot of stress, anxiety, and idk why But I’m losing friends and seeing true colors and it’s looking like I only have myself in the end which is true you’ll only have yourself. Moral of this is I hope whoever reads this knows it’s okay to be alone and you aren’t the only one I’m here with you too G.

Ur right we're all in this alone, but you need to keep it real for you even if the true colors you've seen have let you down, keep in mind everyone is in their own fight, but there is still some few who want to see you good, and they put effort to that, pay attention to the small things don't rush take your time and think things right. Additionally to this, just enjoy your ride and don't wait to do the things you feel will help.

Life gets like that man, I still feel the same sometimes 4 years on from where u are. It’s not easy man. Something I read recently that’s helping me a lot is about what Buddhists believe and spend their lives focusing on: basically, Buddha realised that our suffering comes from our craving for having more than what we have already. Instead of wishing for more, which will always leave you unsatisfied with life, try to instead just see what is happening right now as an experience, that, whether good or bad, is just an experience and try to accept it and appreciate it for what it is. Live for now and try find the beauty in every little thing around… that being said.. it’s really hard to achieve this and most Buddhists themselves even spend their lives chasing meaningless short term objectives.. myself included. It’s just something small that has been helping me a little lately

It was so meaningful to listen to it, I was leaving my mum, sister, my dog, who died whilst I was at university. You leave your house as one person and return as another. I was leaving, never to return the same. It's beautiful and sad at the same time. Good music good times.

elijah- This song is not better than the original version, at least for me. Music is subjective, though. Everyone has a different opinion, you cannot say that this remix being a better song is a *fact* - because it's not a fact. I'm not bringing this remix down, on the contrary - I'm informing people about this remix song's origins and giving a shoutout to Honda who actually came up with it. Not bringing anyone down.

Found this just now. Everybody start their journey to leave! Leave negativity, bad habits, and lets be grateful to even be here in life that we all share. In all of our differences, we are ALL ALIVE, with opportunity at our doorsteps. Instead of waiting for a knock, lets LEAVE the door open. Lets leave and come back and see what opportunity leaves US, after putting our effort into the universe. Happy New Years!

Every single thing about this remix is masterful. The instrumental is one of the greatest I’ve ever heard. Mos Def’s delivery and flow is arguably at his peak on this track, whether it be on this version or the OG with DJ Honda. The subject matter is incredibly powerful and had me feeling so many emotions while listening. So grateful this was recommended to me and I can share the feelings that so many others felt in the comments previously. Much love out there to all who read this ✊🏽

Man, eventhough I can't exactly relate to your story but I definitely feel like where you're coming from brother. Sometimes life hits you such a hard way that it feels like the only option left is to never be seen again. This song speaks to you in a weird way, and gives you that glimmer of hope when you need it the most (no pun intended) I realized when we feel that we are closest to the devil, know that that's when God is the closest to us. We are always in God's mercy and just have to extend our arm to grab the unseen hand of God's blessings. I know it's easier said than done, but you've got the strength to pull through this my bro. May God gives you more strength to fight your demons. Peace!

I means a lot to me even thought I don’t even know you. It’s to know that we still have people that care about others. I think me and god stayed far apart from each other for too long now.
