Hadnt heard of Mosa Lina before but now I need to get it. Honestly the gameplay looks fun and relaxing and Yahtzees commentary made it even more fun. Especially when things went haywire right after going through his plans towards victory.

I like how the featured video is from someone who doesn't work there anymore. It's like Sony still advertising their PS2

Why does Yahtzee's voice sound weird? (I skipped the start and I'm confident that there won't have been any useful explanation in the first few seconds)

You know in zelda botw or totk where you come up with a solution to a puzzle that you're positive wasn't the intended solution, but still somehow works? Mosa lina feels like a game all about that, and I gotta say I'm intrigued.

Its a shame you only had an hour with Lunacid. I feel its a game that really rewards time invested into it. (also the combat is more then run and back away, you didnt get far enough in to see the variety of it from the intro areas of the game)

Lunacid is such a good game.

Yahtzee seems to get colds when a new Assassin's Creed comes out with a decent amount of frequency. He had a cold for Mirage and Odyssey. His voice seems to have changed a not-insignificant amount over the years, so I don't know about past videos, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had a cold for some of those videos as well.

For first, the sick Yahtzee voice is always fun to listen to, even if I can only imagine how uncomfortable the man feels. Also fun to see him play Lunacid, even if lightly disappointed he didn't seem that into it. Still, kinda told me enough about the game, and also why I am still pretty curious about it.

wtf.... Been watching the escapist since the days of Yatzee being a young pioneer. Ive watched doomsday arcade, Doraleus and friends, unforgotten realms, Apocaplypse lane, Loading ready run, Lisa Foiles, Jimquisition, Movie Bob, and so much more. I've been around since forever. When I started watching the escapist and reading their articles, my PC monitor was a square with tubes inside, not a flatscreen. The Escapist has had its ups and downs, it has had periods of glorious content, and content draughts, but the WHOLE TIME, THE WHOLE FREEKIN TIME, I have come back every weeek, to watch zero punctuation. Lastly what I have been watching is adventure is Nigh, and the new fresh faces in the escapist did seem like they brought a good wave back again to the magazine/channel. Apparently some absolute clowns has ruined that now, and made the Escapists oldest, most loyal and sturdy workhorse leave its stable. I have cancelled my membership, and I will not return this time. So long and thanks for all the fish, I really hope you just shut down the site and channel instead of trying to force this onwards.

Almost every Yahtzee-based video on the front page of this channel has at least 10 times the views of everything else. Escapist is gonna be too busy pulling the bullets out of their own feet to do anything else til they fold lol.

If Escapist doesn't make any more new videos, will the parent company pull the plug on the backlog of videos? I've been watching ZPs almost since they first started coming out. It'd be a shame if they disappeared from the platform. Maybe I'm just assuming the worst, but, you do have to wonder about that sort of thing. This Gamurs company really effed themselves over, didn't they?

Next video I will be irately asking why Yahtzee's voice doesn't slash demanding a return to sound/sounding like this one.

I watched (and enjoyed!) this one live, so its nice to see the edited version as well to see what bits were deemed the highlights, and once again, there's a good collection of the best bits! I like that you have now added a visual indicator of when yahtzee is doing voiceover too. I'd lose the music though - i found it very distracting and made me concentrate a lot more to hear the voices. The content is good enough on its own without any music needed!

Played a lot of Lunacid the last few days, and it really managed to draw me in quite well dur to its strong atmoshere and rewarding exploration^^ But yeah starting the game can be somewhat rough xD

Haven't played it myself, but I do hear tell that if you DO like old-school King's Field-style dungeon crawlers, Lunacid is actually really, really good. Especially with the creativity of some of the magic, which it doesn't look like Yahtzee ever bothered with.

I'm diggin this series so far, and I enjoyed the stream! I hope that doesn't make me a fanboy but if it does than I promise to be ashamed

I'm only watching and leaving a like on this vid to bid adieu. (And to read all the funni comments) I remember in highschool when my friend showed me my first Zero Punctuation vid and I was laughing in fits. It was the first time I'd heard of the escapist, and the only reason I would check back now and then, Yhatzee crosshaws humor is unique, and you will not last long without it. But he'll forge his own path without you, and tbh everyone kinda saw this coming Goodbye escapist!

I really like this format, and I think adding the megaphone bits help with it, even if Yahtzee is inexplicably sounding like David Hayter in MGS4. I wish that was explained.

interesting because i actually didn’t like Mosa Lina but loved Lunacid! I personally hated the controls and the movement felt very rough to me, which made the tight platforming annoying. I loved Lunacid however, its aesthetic is great and the exploration is its strongest part so I can definitely see why Yahtzee didn’t really focus on that element, he only made it about 5% through the game at one of its rougher points.

The Escapist continues to hemorrhage subs, and Second Wind is currently up to almost 30k since being formed earlier today/yesterday. Pretty much all (or possibly actually all) of the Escapist crew has quit and gone to Second Wind. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. WHY, GAMURS?! Did you think that the fear of losing their incomes would overshadow the loyalty of the crew to Nick, the captain that has held the whole ship together for years? Great to see that cynical corporate decisions do not always win out over human decency and loyalty. Have fun going from being one of the best gaming channels on all of KZfaq, to obscurity and irrelevance.
