If you are looking for one of the most insane grinders in the entire game then make sure to check out the moschops. This overpowered monster has an ability that people too often forget about it to gather insane amounts of resources, you just have to know how to do it!
This video is part of my channel for ARK: Survival Evolved, to help give you locations, hints, helps, guides,tips, cheats, glitches, cheese, the easy way, and whatever you might want to call these sorts of videos! :)

moschops tertiary attack does work while mounted for boosted. i use on lost island for 900 poly from one mantis on official

Tip : to get him to gather trees, enable wandering then instsntly ride it then get it close to the tree and go down, after he is done with the tree repeat To get orgsnic poly kill your tsrget then enable wandering, instsntly get him to the penguin so it harvests then deactivate wandering or else he will run, then repeat

If I'm on the island and have no access to a karknos crab or that weird bug, what am I supposed to be harvesting with the moschops to get polymer? Other than the penguins, since early game there's no way I can get the fur and mounts needed to survive the cold and harsh north.

3 tips for venturing into the north early: 1. Tame an otter and have it on your shoulders. 2. Go around killing dire bears and megalaceros, for their pelt and craft fur gear. 3. Put points into fortitude until at 30-40. This comment is a little late but hopefully it’ll help someone.

I have a small herd of these Moschops and recently hatched one out, but I haven't yet used them to harvest stuff like you are showing. I must try that. When I have a flock of Dodos, Lystrosaurus, or Moschops with me with Attack My Target activated, I normally only have to shoot an arrow at something and they attack. I may lose an Dodo, or two, but then the Moschops tend to charge in and consume the fresh kill, but I don't get any meat, or hide. Have no idea why that is, but wondering if you might?

I've always used the C attack to collect poly, definitely gets much more than left clicking. I'll have to test it via whistle see if it's more.

Right click with the Beezelbufo (toads) also harvests more chitin from bugs as well. Right click must be the harvesting attack on most (if not all) dinos.

so how do you get polemer without cheating? i'm lvl 93 and havent got polymer or obsidian yet havent evecn seen them.. and organic goes to waste so fasst i cant use itl.

uhhhhhh..... doesnt using right click while riding actually get (barely) more Poly than clicking attack this target? I just tested it with Kairuku (Adult level 1) with a Moschops (spawned level 1 and levelled to max). Without any harvesting levels it 11 Poly. With levels and using "attack this target" i got between 50 and 55 (10 Kairuku), with "Right Click" 55-62 per (10 Kairuku) No offense but reading the wiki is not a good way to "teach", gotta test stuff as lots of it is wrong or outdated

Personally I get a penguin farm going let them breed I have a seagull on aggressive to auto kill babies it gathers things on the last hit so it always collects might not be as much in one go but is 100% passive still gets plenty

Thanks for the info. By the way, your music is like 10 times louder then your voice. Not sure why so many content creators all have their intros at 10X Boost but their voices are like a whisper. Anyway thanks again for the info!

Hm, I think this may have more to do with what you're harvesting. Tried this on penguins but due to bugginess of its auto gather it was easier to just use c attack, which has a secondary gather amount a moment after the first, was getting 10ish per penguin. 1x.

Sorry, bothered me that you didn't know basic math. 9x6 is 54. 9x60 would be 540. The quick method to remember your nine's tables: 9 times any other number is minus 1 of the other number, then add what's left to get to 9. 9x8 for example: 8-1=7. 7+2=9. So, 9x8=72. Now, this does not work with larger numbers. It will work with the tens/hundreds/thousands/etcetera tables. But, it won't work with other numbers. For example, it doesn't work with 9x453. But, it does work with 400. It also works with 4000. And 4,000,000. All you do is the basic 9x4 math (36) and then add all the existing zeroes to the end of it. Okay, math lesson over.

Kill something drag body to the tree stub then whistle attack target 🎯 the tree stub will be within range of the corps that he will harvest it

I just built a kairuku farm in my base but i want the moschops to attack without me on its back. I tried whistling but they never react. I have a mutton farm right next to it and my hyaenodons work perfectly. Help?

I tried a pingu farm the other week. My plan was to have the moschops on aggressive. Then when the egg hatches and is unclaimed he will attack it. But it didnt work. I whistle attack and he runs off lol

In your single player game (or a server that you control the settings on) it is right there in the server options tab where you launch the game.... I don't know how you can miss it. There are three different tabs though, maybe you have been overlooking some of your settings options.

You don't have to wistle it... You just right click and it does the boosted levels and actually a little thing I do is I left click the corpses then once I'm at base I right click and I still get the poly so I'm not overweighted on my way back (basically I'm saying it doesn't register the body there but it still harvests from all the bodies you killed so you get all the poly from your kills still if you right click anyway after you left click them

I've heard a trick around being new and not having many resources, look for the really low level ones. You may be able to catch them only needing one berry. I haven't tested this yet, so don't take my word for it.

Yes. C click is for its special gather. Setup a poly farm with penguins constantly breeding, then when u have a bunch of eggs to hatch in 1 go, use c to kill and eat. Voilla, bulk poly 🤷‍♂️

Melee doesnt affect gathering on moschops, thats why u have the havesting lvls. Also it 10000% does work whil u ride it. U bob.

I usually clone a lvl 15 karkinos, put it in a cryo fridge, lvl it up in hp with the 55 lvls then kill it with a moschops that has around 675 melee and I get amounts of 700 to 900 poly so imagine a 1000 melee moschops

i'm new lvl 80 and i have never seen the rock u use to make poly.. (oinx?) and i have seen the psudo polymer many times.. but it useless cus it decay before i can get enough to craft anything. so here i am stuck with lvl 80+ and nothing that requires polymer in my inventory. game is a fail.. the swamp is deadly to me.. so is anything that looks like a t rex even if it is just an omnivore.. then there are those giant gaters.. i'm so screwed.. this game really is for multi player.. i played solo to learn how to play without griefing.

I have to say lately your video overall quality has suffered. It seems as though you are doing a one shot no editing raw video. Previously they were much more polished and when you went to demonstrate something it actually worked. Not so much anymore.
