I come from London and I use to live and work in Moscow, I miss it a lot! Also catching the train to different places. My father came to visit me when I worked there and he was amazed at the metro! Red Square and VNDKH are epic at Christmas and New Year

Electrozavodskaya - not because of "electric station", but an "electric factory (zavod)": manufacturer of various transformer and reactor equipment. There are also Electrozavodskaya ulitsa (street) end Electrozavodsky most (bridge).

This was the first video of yours I have seen and must congratulate you on your presentation, with perfect English and smooth delivery that suggested to me that you have training as an actor. The metro system is a wonder of the world, and every time I visit Moscow from my adopted home city of St Petersburg. We have a smaller system and only the first line build that is ornate like those in the city center of Moscow. There are 300 active stations in the Moscow system while our metro is only 77 stations on 5 lines. Luckily I live directly across the street from a city center station which makes getting around the city very easy. I was always intimidated by Moscow on my many visits, it was such a large and busy city that required a person know exactly where and how they were going to. But the entire personality of the city began to change about 14 years ago with the new governor was appointed and the changes were really felt by visitors like me, the city became more people oriented, the new pedestrian streets and outdoor art, made it seem much more personal and accessible. Moving much of the business to Moscow City lower congestion in the old city center. Now Moscow is one of the very best walking cities, with a slower pace where it is a joy to explore. I have been in 92 countries but for large cities I have not experienced one as friendly to people, forget London or Paris, they do not compare, plus other than Chinese cities now are safer to explore day or night. I have become a real fan of Moscow. I have never had anything less than a great time on every visit but no city can replace MY St Petersburg's place in my heart. Now with so many high speed trains daily, visiting is fast and comfortable, 3.5 hours city center to city center, which is faster than by air. What is your background in presentation? You are such a delight to listen to and to see, I naturally guessed you had a background in the theater. I work with a lot of stage actors, working with master classes to aid them make the transition from stage to cinema. I moved from California here I was in the music industry for decades, owning a large popular recording studio, but gave everything away in Jan 2000 and moved to St Petersburg and love it. I never felt so comfortable in a large city before but this feels like home to me. One thing has changed a lot, Moscow and St Petersburg have become great dining capitals, with so many great restaurants with innovative approaches to food that it is harder to find a bad meal in either of these cities than any country of Europe or North America. One factor that helps its the natural methods of farming in Russia on all scales, Overall, people eat better here than almost anywhere else in the world, and it shows in the people. Everyone looks healthy happy and fit, Walk around London or any city in the US and people do not look good, overweight, sickly, unhappy. Russia really is the best place in Europe to live, start a business or raise a family and it gets even better every year. Good luck with your channel, it is done very well and you are are the perfect representative of your city and society.

Поезд-галерея очень известный в Московском метро. Он называется "Акварель". Экспозиция картин в нём постоянно обновляется через несколько месяцев.

Девочке повезло. Она проехала на поезде " Акварель", выставке акварелей на колёсах. Периодически меняется экспозиция работ художников школы акварели Андрияки. Нигде в мире нет ничего подобного. Ну как не гордиться нашим метро, где в своё время работали замечательные художники Дмитрий Корин и Александр Дейнека, по чьим рисункам были созданы мозаики на станциях Комсомольская кольцевая и Маяковская. А автором скульптур на станции Площадь Революции был советский скульптор, автор многих памятников Матвей Манизер. Так что Московское метро действительно музей.

Саша, в следующем видео о метро Москвы не забудь упомянуть вот что: когда вы едите в сторону центра, станции объявляются мужским голосом, а когда из центра, то женским, это очень удобно, если вы вдруг едите не в нужную сторону😊 P. S. и ещё при входе в вестибюль метро принято придерживать тяжёлую дверь за собой, чтобы она не ударила идущего за тобой следом)

An excellent introduction to the Moscow metro though arguably much too short. There are SO many wonders to see I feel you could have made this much longer and viewers would really appreciate it. Your video gave me pangs of longing to be back in Moscow again. Westerners remain largely ignorant of how wonderful Russia is and especially ignorant of the incredible changes for the better Vladimir Putin has made since he first became president. It is wht he will most certainly be voted into office once again early next year. My favorite metro station is Kievskaya which you showed a little of. An entire video could be made of the two levels of the station as the beauty of the murals is simply outstandingly wonderful.

Thank you for your informative and beautiful tour of the Moscow Metro stations. I was impressed by the great beauty of the stations, which are more reminiscent of palaces or museums than a means of transport. Moscow Metro is the largest subway in Europe, larger than the London Metro or NY. Only the Shanghai Metro is larger.
