I'm looking for my escape route out of America, as soon as I have the money, I cannot believe people cross the border. Why?! Zero clue where, but anywhere. Just the poisoned food by itself is a good enough reason. All people care about is stuff, noone enjoys anything, you go to the grocery store and everyone looks like they had the worse day of their lives. It's not what it used to be for sure, my parent use to talk about the 70's, much better back then.

I'm a US military veteran. I think you made the right choice! I signed up to serve this country because I believed in everything it stood for, (the right to bear arms/freedom of speech/no taxation without representation/freedom of movement etc.) But these days, everything this country once stood for is gone. It doesn't exist anymore, and it's very depressing. I hate fellow Americans who "don't like" or "don't trust" Russians because of all the lies we are told here. It's usually people in their 50s and older than think this way and I'm always busy telling them that this isn't the 50-70s anymore, Russia is no longer the "bad guy" our own government is. And they are just too stupid to see it. If I could leave and live in Russia too, I would.

As a American. I think the Russian ppl are absolutely good people. I have nothing against any of Russia. Its not the American ppl. It's the Government. And I do put most blame. On the U S. Government then I do the Russian Government simply because our American president is no more then a forked tongued two faced idiot. He's betrayed us all. Also I must add most news meda does not help matters with there lies of fake journalism Just my opinion.

Moscow is tidy I was there 1979 ( soviets union times ) Have been to all Moscow metro . But I was a suspicious men for KGB in the beginning . After they get to know me we were good friends. Because I was born & and raised in commonwealth nations ( Ceylon ) and never hear anything good about Soviet Union That inspired me to travel all Eastern Europe . Of course I did face minor issues local language but generally they are good people .

im a russian-american teen born in the US raised by russian parents, and i have been to russia many times, but i think ill choose to stay in america because my mentality is rather closer to americans, but i dont mind living in russia for some time, because i really enjoyed all my stays there.

Very well said. You were raised right and have perspective that I WISH more young people had. I am fortunate in that my two sons understand much of what you talked about. The oldest lives in Japan for many of the reasons you discussed. I have watched the deterioration of culture and society in the US. Thank you for your honesty. And yes food is garbage here. I changed my diet a few years ago and it was life changing. BTW, I have always been curious about other Countries, unfortunately, much of the West is in a similar condition of deterioration as the US. I have always been curious about the East, and Russia. I am currently learning Russian.

It is unfortunate, and I am sorry for it, that you came to America and witnessed one of it's worst periods of social turmoil I can think of. I blame a lot of what you experienced on the fact America is so large and separated by 2 oceans that few of us experience foreigners or their languages except some areas of Spanish (Mexican). Not an excuse but it is an explanation of how it got this way.

I am Russian but studying in Italy, and you motivated me to speak my opinion, because I was scared of some bullying for my opinion on different topics. So now you gave me some braveness. Thank you!
