Pattern testing the Mossberg 535 with standard 12 gauge bore vs. the 935 with an over-bored barrel. Both guns seemed to perform well in this test. Hopefully some velocity tests to come.

I like it. I know some people that like to blot the target out with the barrel when they pull the trigger, but I like my pattern high. I want the bulk of my pattern to hit where I can see, and just the bottom edge of the main part down about where the rib cuts my target in two. Because when I shoot something running i don’t blot it out of sight to pull the trigger. I am watching it when I swing through, I use the edge of the tippy top of my bead for reference and I will either put on a smaller bead, or no bead and use the rib, or even shim up my stock with gorilla tape to achieve what I want! That’s what I did to my 835, removed the mid bead and replaced the front bead with the smallest one I could get, and shimmed the stock even still.

Hi, could you PLEASE do a "the BONE test" with the 9mm 147 Grain Winchester Defender (S9MMPDB1) using a 4" barrel (G19, M&P Compact, etc.)? It would be awesome to see if it expands, as this is a very common carry round, including my personal one. Thanks.

Great to see you! I hope you're doing well. Those 3.5 inch shells are no joke. Reminds me of a 10 coach gun I shot once.

Good to see a vid from you! Looks like you’re getting ready to hunt. I had a Mossberg 835. Shot a 3.5 turkey load through it once. Once was enough lol😂

Thanks buddy! Those 3.5” are hard kickers for sure!! I’ve heard the 10 gauge guns are much softer shooting, maybe I’ll try one sometime. The gas operated 935 definitely helps take the edge off it tho, kind of turns it into a push instead of being so violent 👍🏻

@The Magnum Channel coincidently i have both a browning gold 10ga and a mossberg 935. 3.5" 1.5oz steel 10ga out of the gold feels like 3" 1.25oz 12ga out of the 935.
