I just recently graduated esthetics school and definitely needed this video. the advice is amazing. Anxiety has been running high because i am very much a perfectionist and feel i need to know everything now.

Congratulations, anxiety is normal in the beginning and sometimes in the middle as well 😂, you are gonna do great, being a perfectionist can stress us out but it also motivates us to be better and do better

Hello, stumbled across your channel been watching in silence. I have subscribed and I’m staying! I’m 52 in Georgia I just completed school in March passed state board July 13. Currently looking for work in the Esti world to receive training b/c I don’t feel confident enough with the small amount of school training that I received. Watching your channel and using your tips and advice are really preparing me for my goal of becoming a solo Esti at the top of the year 2024. I’m leaving a career history of 28 years in the mortgage industry , venturing out into this beauty world. So, to see any the least it is very scary starting over. Hi Kristen! I’ve been following you since last year and you were one of my motivators to sign up for esthetics school after being a nail technician for 8years (not my dream). I am currently in my 2nd semester and will graduate esthetics school this summer here in Georgia🥳 I am a little nervous about the state board but I know I can do it! Definitely nervous about how to properly assign clients for proper skincare regimen and services on the floor next semester and watching your videos has helped me so much. Hey Kristen! I am on the waitlist for the esthetics program at my community college and while I’ve been waiting I’ve been trying to just knowledge up on everything. Your page has blessed me so much!!! I definitely know I want to move toward being a solo esthetician after I receive some experience in the industry. I do have a question about how things are different as an employer. How did you decide how to pay your employees and what does your contract consist of? I have a passion for leading others and I know I’ll definitely want to work up to doing what you do as far as taking new people under your wing, but I’m just curious about the legalities of it all

I was also coming from waiting tables part time, and being a SAHM when I started!! At 31 I finally went back for the career of my dreams and just became licensed a couple weeks ago. I was nervous about being older and not what folks wanted to hire, but to my surprise was recruited from school a couple weeks before graduation! I’m so happy about my career choice and ppl are flocking to get self care- it’s a trend!! I wish you the very best and you got this 🥳🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩🤩🤩🙌🙌🙌🙌

I'm in IL, is specifically says no dermaplaning on the IDFPR, yet basically every esthetician I have looked at around my area offers dermaplaning. How do you tell a client that you can't perform the service without getting someone else in trouble or make it seem like you're talking down on them.

I passed my exams and have been waiting to get a different work schedule and start my Esthi on the side or in a spa if possible. I can’t afford a pay cut right now and that’s what I’m worried about. I want to learn more before going into my own booth.
