I love that 340 Demon! Dusters were prevalent in my Central PA area. You might see an occasional Demon, but they were rare. I’d like to swoop on into your shop as a thing on my Bucket List. I wish I had been 3 years older. A 1952 baby instead of 1955. Because, my High School graduation present was a Brand New, right off the showroom floor 1973 340 Cuda! It was Brown and had a White Stripe and White Interior. It was a Slapstick Automatic and I was the envy of a lot of my high school friends. If I had been born in 1952, I might have had a brand new 1970 Hemi. My buddies I hung out with were MOPAR GUYS! The Long brothers had a 1968 Roadrunner and a 1969 Roadrunner, both were 383s. My cousin Tim had a 1970 383 Challenger with the Pistol Grip Shifter. Then Denny had a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T 440 4 Speed. (In 1977 I had a chance to buy the R/T, but passed on it. The bank wouldn’t give me $1,800 for car that Denny was selling for $2,200.) The youngest Long boy was a Ford guy - enough said. We had some great times cruising the downtown area of Altoona, PA out on the circuit looking for other hot cars and nice ladies. Love seeing all the great MOPARS on your channel as well as on TV from time to time. One of my favorites was the 1972 340 Duster with the Cragar Wheels. Alyssa helped Mark putting the Factory Stickers on. (Chip Delluchi’s Duster from Mahoney Motors, Yonkers, NY) I’d really like to see a 1970 Blue Hemi Challenger with Cragar Wheels. And yes, I’d like to see my Cuda again. I wish I could track it down, I’d be shipping it out to you for a restoration!

Great to see an A body restored. What a cool car that Demon. Makes you wonder about the original owner too. Did he just return from Vietnam or what was going on in his life that he sought out one of the most Hi Po 340 rippers out there? I had a 70 340 4 speed Challenger back in the day. I always wondered about that air cleaner. I actually pulled mine out of a farmers field and rebuilt the car and figured the snorkles got knocked off it somehow lol. I guess that's just how they were.

Chargers are really my dream car. I wish that I had one. Living on government disability will keep me from getting one. I have a few physical problems and now my heart is is giving me trouble. I can't walk very far. I can't do much.

After going so factory correct on the build of the black '69 Hemi Charger, I wouldn't have added A/C to it, it kind of ruins the stock looking engine compartment.

I have to say, Mark has definitely graduated from the university of life as has all the degrees. He has a BS, an MS, and a PHD. BS, we all know what that is. MS is more of the same. And PHD is piled higher and deeper.

you know what they say, if you have to ask chances are you cant afford it..... lol. Sad thing is when I was a teenager cars like this were everywhere for a thousand bucks or two.....

I had a friend when he was 16 years old in 1985, and he bought a 1969 Dodge Superbee with a 383 Magnum, 3,000 miles on a race rebuild, sporting 12.5:1 compression ratio, Headman headers with a new exhaust, Hurst shifted 4 speed. 4:56 8-3/4” rear end. In the trunk was an Offenhauser dual quad manifold, the original highway gears, and a set of 9” slicks. Body was a little rough, but fixable. He paid $550 for the whole thing.

Mark how you sound in the morning LOLOLOLOLOL etc! fortunately you ¿ùšüãłłÿ? have a tidbit of information to add You should add a 5 minute (maybe l o n g e r) HS gf, 1st wife, ex-wife, current gf and/or wife section so we could see the Mark the gentleman and scholar
