I love these so much. All the movie mistakes are great, but the pancake one is my favorite. And you made great points about why it makes no sense when movie characters make a great meal and then just leave. I mean, at least put it in the fridge or something!

I remember reading the leaked script to Batman Begins about a year before the movie was released, and there was a scene where Alfred reminded Bruce Wayne that he still had eye black on as he was getting ready for an event. I thought it was a good quick joke that acknowledged the eye black but sadly it didn’t make it into the film.

For the American sniper one, Clint Eastwood said that the babies that were supposed to be in the movie just didn’t show up or wouldn’t stop crying which makes it even funnier!

The Gladiators one isn't a NOS tank, its an air compressed tank to power the piston that makes the cart flip on the side. They use that in every movie they need to flip something.

Great episode! The first one I think I ever noticed was in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and the part when they’re eating porridge or something at the table during the song Something There, it shows him making a mess on his face eating out the bowl, then Chip nudges the spoon and he’s clean, then it’s messy again trying to eat with the spoon, then it’s clean when they start drinking out the bowl. It was so annoying the first time I noticed it!!

Speaking as someone who has held multiple babies over the years, there is nothing strange about him moving the arm with his thumb. I don't believe we're supposed to imagine that arm wiggle was self-powered. It's just something you do when you're holding a baby. If I were to contribute a distracting movie mistake, I'd call attention to that shot in Transformers…4? where there's some sort of action scene going on near some tall silos with a few concrete barriers people are hiding behind. There's an explosion and several frames of some random member of the crew wearing completely different clothes from any of the actors in the scene crouching behind one of the barriers right next to one of the main characters. They pop in for a hot second then are never seen again.

Here's another one. In The Lost World: Jurassic Park, after the infamous gymnastics scene Kelly and Ian run out of the shack while Sarah has to climb out of a window to escape the raptors. She gets chased onto the ceiling where she slides and hangs off the edge of the ceiling and manages to knock down the raptor onto another one below. The 2 raptors start to squabble while Sarah runs away, falls through a hole into another shack, rolls on some fallen light fixture and smashes through a window. The scene cuts to Ian and Kelly helping Sarah to her feet in the middle of the jungle, no window or shack or building behind them. WTF??

I have no idea what Joe was on about, that throne room fight in TLJ was one of the WORST choreographed fight scenes in movie history.

Watching the chariot fall over, I notice it **had** been covered (and was supposed to have remained covered); the black fabric covering it came loose and falls off, revealing the NOS tank... Why they didn't go for a second take is the puzzle. I'm impressed Billy saw the underrated and under-appreciated "The Phantom"... Check out the film-crew guy aboard the shop at the end of the first "Pirate of the Caribbean"... and have me a guest if you want to see TONS of wtf continuity nightmares in a single, classic, Academy Award winning film ***that I know*** (or at least I certainly strongly suspect) you have all seen!

Re the NO2 tank not being CGI'd out of Gladiator. Could have been due to the rush job to CGI the unfinished scenes of recently deceased Oliver Reed in post (detailed face-grafting that was kind of forced-pioneering at that time) so the tank concealment became a victim of priorities. Also, Scott is famously attached to his "beloved mistakes" such as the stuntwoman's shoes on falling Zhora during her retirement scene in Bladerunner.

Djimon Hounsou has a busy schedule for 2018 and 2019 since he will be Shazam The Wizard, The Fisherman King, returning as Korath for Captain Marvel.

Poor Billy goes through glaring, hilarious, obnoxious, and memorable to cover all the bases and they go and use 'distracting' in the title.

There is a deleted scene for that Julia Robert's eating the pastry where she says something like "you, know what I am going to eat the pancake instead."

That Batman Returns thing has bugged me since I was 5 and is why with every new Batman movie I think just put the white lenses in the cowl like the comics! Here we are 26 years later & Hollywood still hasn't figured that out.

I think the most distracting movie mistakes are in the Batman movies. Like, in the first 2 Tim Burton ones, Batman’s played by Michael Keaton. Then in the next he’s played by someone completely different. There’s been like 5 Batman actors and nobody addresses it!! It’s almost like they haven’t been continuing the same continuity for 30 years

Y’all should cover the issue on the train chase scene of Breaking All The Rules (Jamie Foxx, Gabrielle Union). The state of Foxx’s haircut changes drastically back and forth from perfectly cut to bed head and growing out. You can’t unsee it after you notice it.

Guys, love your work. Gotta check out the first tragic scene of cliff hanger where Yondu is sad and the guy Behind him is pissing himself!!!! Also, the hand placed racoon in in the movie The Money Pit is worth a look.

The Batman mistake is something that drives me crazy in the DC Tv universe. They keep perpetuating this illusion that the flash’s mask turns into a hood when it’s clearly moulded rubber. They also transition Arrow from using grease paint to a mask on his face with makeup under it, but the makeup is never there after he takes the mask off!

The Red Guard guy could have also slashed Rey in the stomach in the same motion of moving his dagger to her back.

The birthday candles from liar liar is a weird one.

There is like twenty in Gladiator! Look out for the guy who walks through the frame wearing jeans!!! It's in the scene the morning after the battle at the start I think, when Maximus is petting a horse.

At least for continuity they could have turn the croissant into a piece of French toast.

Bigger error in the last Jedi is at the beginning of the fight, Rey misses her cue to kneel and one of the guards mid swing just swings up into no where to avoid hitting Rey

I think one of the worst mistakes in a movie in that it's so painfully obvious on first viewing was in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). Yes, I know, not a film that's really still on many folks minds, but still. There's a scene at a party where Quincy Morris, the Texan, is brushed aside by a suitor who has fallen and stumbles to the couch. Lucy fawns over the other man for several seconds. The entire time, Quincy has his hat in his hand, in the foreground, quite prominently as he fiddles with it awkwardly while the attention is on the other man. It cuts away to Arthur Holmwood arriving at the party. It cuts back to Quincy (now with no hat in hand) and the other man stands up, pulls Quincy's flattened hat from under him and says, "So sorry about your hat." Must have been some sort of vampire magic.

Now wanna see a skit of a Black Widow and Catwoman leading the guys in a superhero/villain makeup tutorial

I'm a real stiffler for chronology in movies and one that has always annoyed me is La vien Rose playing in Sebastian Shaw's office in xmen first class. This was set in ww2 but the song didn't come out till 1946

I always thought the idea was that the make up was the makeup was technically part of the costume. Like so Keaton could actually see out of the cowl they pretended the rest of the cowl was there with makeup.
