What about the archer in LotR: Two Towers, after they signal the retreat in Helms Deep? The guy, after the signal is done, people running etc, decides to draw an arrow yet never release it! Just puts the bow back down and walks away. I noticed it the very first time I saw the movie in theaters and cannot avoid it lol.

12:35 That TDKR stunt extra falling when he wasn’t even hit can only be seen in the 16:9 widescreen. In the anamorphic widescreen where the film frame is even narrower, that extra flub is covered by the black bar so it’s not even seen. On my TDKR dvd/blu ray you can’t see it. When they air it on tv the black bars are gone so you can see it.

You guys HAVE to watch Michael Jackson's BAD music video the one directed by Scorsese. When the call and response scene happens there's an asian guy behind Michael staring dead into the camera during the ENTIRE scene. I have no clue why no one brings this up. It's one of the most noticeable things in such an iconic music video. It gives me life.

I'm an actor who also does background work. There is a difference between background (no lines) and Day Players (lines). Check out the award winning (surprisingly heart felt), feature documentary "Strictly Background"...

You’ve seen him before, I guarantee it. He’s been in so many things... it would be cool and hilarious to watch you guys talk about him. Please try and do it! It would make my day. Rewatched it again... Genuinely loved it... this is real good.....

In one of the Harry Potter movies, probably Goblet of Fire, there's a scene with a group of girls looking concerned, Hermione is in the center of the shot, but right next to her there's a black girl making a really dopey face while nodding her head.... It is inexplicable why she did that or why they left that shot in the film in the first place but it's hilarious.

With the new James Bond films the extras were told to mime out their actions as the sound recording was really sensitive. Essentially they weren't allowed to make *any* noise at all, as most of the scene was focused on the actors and everything else would be added in post. At least based on an interview I remember watching with some of the cast.

Honestly, the "Batman, yeah!" guy was the best part of them movie.

So glad you guys called out the bad extras in the Dark Knight films. I've been complaining about those for years and the fans always get pissy.

My favorite bad use of an extra would have to be from Stranger than Fiction. theres a guy with a blue shirt and a mail bag that walks past will ferrel and dustin hoffman in the courtyard twice in the same scene.

I'm the opening fight scene in Gladiator when the Romans are fighting that Germanic tribe, if you're watching it in slo-mo just as the two sides clash you can clearly see two extas (might be more, been a few years since I saw it last) from opposing forces/sides standing there having a casual chat, blissfully unaware that the Director has yelled 'Action'. All the other extras start charging towards eachother and just as the two sides clash, you can see those 2(+) guys just standing around chatting and joking on with eachother....how the f*ck didn't they know the camera was rolling when everybody else has exploded into action ...surely it must be intentional, classic Extra sabotage hah haa😂 I spotted it myself as a kid and to this day have never seen anyone else notice besides people I've have told about it. Would be awesome to see you guys cover it!

On the Steven Segal thing: Not only did he actually hit people, but the extras in the first few movies are all the same, because his students were the only ones who could take the hits/techniques without breaking.

One of my favorite extras is in Captain America TWS: When Pierce is telling SHIELD that Cap is a fugitive, one guy makes a face that just says “Whaaat?”

How about extras that made movies better? i.e. The guy saving the margaritas in Jurassic World...

Those kids at the picnic table in the front yard are real kids. The story behind the take is that the director told the kids to sit still and not be a distraction. The kids took this direction extremely literal and didn't move. The director just meant don't overact not to sit creepily still lol.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one bothered by the extras in the Nolan Batman movies. Begins too, man, a lot of the overall casting there was just straight off... off. Katie Holmes, man... The guy that played Falcone, too, overacting the shit out of it. I don't know, the acting in these films are always too transparent.

This was great, would love to see another episode when you can find more. Heck even include trailers the Dunkirk guy was funny as shit.
