I moved from RA to smalls a few years ago and it was the best decision for me. It doesn't work for everyone but I enjoy digging through and finding something that others might pass over that have really good value. The fact that they take up so little space, easy to pack and easy to ship makes it worthwhile. Thanks for sharing and I hope the patches do well for you!

I am a parent of an Eagle Scout and I think you would be able to sell several lots of patches if you put one of each of the cheaper patches in a lot and sell them that way. A lot of the scouts have Blankets with patches from different places on them. So this would be a good resource for people wanting different patches that aren't available to them. The Philmont patches are so valuable because camping and hiking at Philmont is a pinnacle point in Scouting.

Well, Philmont was just a little too expensive for most scouts. I decided to use my summer earnings to buy myself clothes and shoes for school each year instead of going to Philmont.

@@RonHelton Yes it's an expensive trip for sure. I know scouts save and fundraiser for that trip more than any trip. That Philmont trip is an experience and can be a back breaker if you aren't prepared for it. Many life lessons learned along the way.

The ski patch you were wondering about looking weird and zoomed in, I’m guessing the reason it looks like that is they used the eBay background removal tool. Sometimes it removes parts of the item if it looks too similar to the background. I bet that’s what it was.

Make sure you make a “ball” of paper or bubblewrap and place it over the keys to secure them during shipment. Then add padding into the case to secure the typewriter and prevent it from bouncing around as that will cause damage. The clips that secure the typewriter in the case are inadequate to securely hold during shipment. Great sale!

That Broadmoor patch listed for over a year at $39 was used and removed from clothing. You can see it fraying around the edges.

SVHS-C was the compact version of Super VHS for camcorders. Super VHS came out near the end of VHS's life. It had slightly better resolution. The SVHS-C tapes didn't sell for long because SVHS camcorders came out that could record SVHS on regular VHS-C tapes. That was called quasi-svhs. Anything that says SVHS or SVHS-C is usually a much better flip than regular old VHS stuff.

VHS-C is the compact variant of the VHS videocassette format, introduced by Victor Company of Japan (JVC) in 1982, and used primarily for consumer-grade compact analog recording camcorders. The format is based on the same video tape as is used in VHS, and can be played back in a standard VHS VCR with an adapter.

Very familiar with VHS-C - the one that I hadn't heard of is the "S-VHS-C" format, which is what one of those adapters was. Have heard of SVHS but didn't know they made it in the same form factor as the VHS-C tapes.

@@shedflips S-VHS-C. This camcorder format is dwindling. JVC is only company that currently makes S-VHS-C camcorders. The format has the same pros of S-VHS: better resolution, S-video connections and timecode, and the overall size reduction of VHS-C.

Can you please help me to figure out: I am learning how to sell on EBay, saw people listing item with shipping fee. How to I figure out the correct shipping fee (weight & measurement I know is they key) if I don’t buy which zone or country of the buyer is buying. The distance can make big difference on shipping fee.

If you use calculated shipping you will not have to figure it out. You will need to know the final package dimensions and weight of your item.
