Not only a field test, but the window did not break. Bullet proof windows are not meant to cause bullets to ricochet without leaving a mark my friend, just keep them from going through your head.

The Armor windows were still in the test stage, hence the man throwing the rocks at it with Musk standing right there watching. He wanted to know if the windows were a ready thing (and obviously, they were not). Doubt he was ticked off about it as the test showed him exactly what he needed to know.

@@downhomesunset That was using cooking oil as a substitute for diesel fuel, not a substitute for engine oil. The former will work because cooking oil is considered a biofuel. The latter, too little viscosity to properly lubricate the parts.

So at 1:21, don't Tesla cars have a 'kill switch' of sorts that prevent overcharging? So how did that really happen?

Most modern electronics/cars etc have a control circuit that shuts off charging to prevent damaging the battery exactly for that reason. It's why your phone can be on the charger at 100% for hours and be perfectly fine. My guess is there was a short either in a computer or the battery itself that caused the battery to overheat and catch fire

There was most likely a short somewhere that started a fire and the thing about lithium batteries is once they're on fire they're extremely difficult to put out, The local fire department where I live had to respond to a junkyard 6 times because the same tesla kept catching on fire from the battery pack shorting out why they didn't think to disconnect everything after the first fire is beyond me

The last one; you don't put the oil in AFTER it runs out, the maintenance rules are to change it every 3,000 miles, otherwise it won't run, just like with gas! This video is great, I've never seen so many on one video that are terrible at they're best, lol, lol!
