South Korea’s primary armoured vehicle has been an essential recent addition into its arsenal. Constant tensions with its rival north of the border mean that the K2 is a useful asset to have in reserve should any issues show themselves. There is an argument to be made that this is the best tank in the world so let’s take a closer look and find out.

There are 4,000 of these monster tanks in South Korea, and the 5.0 version of the tank will soon have more than 6,000 in a short time, long live South Korea

WoW, the South Korans are obviesly compassionate and tolerant people, these K2s would annihilate the North Koreans and the Soviet crap they have. Yet, they haven’t made one offensive move, while the north is exploding nukes and flying rockets, it’s gotta take balls to stay calm in the face of all that.

No matter how strong Korea's defense capabilities are, once a war breaks out, many lives and economic losses are inevitable. If they don't fight first, there's no reason to start a war first. But if they come to war, they will have a taste of hell.

Design for indigenous Korean Peninsula, such as going underwater to cross the numerous rivers for a rapid and speedy course to NK Pyongyang, able to kneel and lower the tank body not shown in this video for leveling and hiding main tank body on mountainous SK terrain..overall a good accurate video. I am subscribing to your channel. It’s also able to speed quicker than Leopard tank as shown in Norway. Norway military commanders wanted K2 tank however politics played for German Leopard, deal with Norways gas import to Germany…

Wrong title, K2 is not most expensive tank. Leopard and Abrams are much more expensive than K2

Most expensive tank in the world is French Leclerc and then Japanese Type 90.

K2 main battle tank was developed and is being now produced by Hyundai Rotem Co. which is a branch company of Hyundai motors Co, Korea.

production is good, but your facts are wrong. how could they deliver 900 tanks already when contract was signed last year? They delivered a handful of tanks but deal has majority tanks to be built in Poland under joint venture. the engine is korean not german, transmission is now korean, not german, gun was never licensed from germany, as if they would give the locense. jeeees/

U are wrong. K2 120mm gun is made in Korea by Hyundai Wia under license of German Reinmetal and engines is by Doosan Infracore, yet only transmission is still German.

K1 is Not a direct copy of Abraham. Not 1 part is shared. But it was designed with the help of American defense companies.
