Only Ireland's got the balls to do such things, it is what you could call the pure version of GP, I mean, bikes are meant for the road, and racing on them is awesome. And by doing so in presence of only those other people who are willing to do so, they don't endengare people who aren't. We went to the Isle of manTT twice, we also went to Ireland and saw many lesser known road races, like Skerries 100, Munster 100, Ulster GP, Kells road races and the list goes on, much closer racing than the Isle of Man and scarier, adrenaline was through the roof, they even race in the rain !!! well worth a summer trip to Ireland to see when the world is covid free .

It's so long since I went to my local bike race in Skerries. I must go this year. It's everything the big races are not, a community racing where it's more country fair day then anything else. The Irish take it to the next level; this make Isle of Man TT look like a pram race. I've almost 100k up on my bikes over the decades but these guys get the cigar.
