I’m obsessed with the Lady Web in leather but can never catch a pre-loved one in the color I want before it gets snatched up. The suede is so chic but impractical for me given all the rain we get here.

Emma, you’re a star! I’ve gotten so many good ideas/good advice from your vids over the years. My puzzle bag is still my go to (named Emma in your honor), and I also picked up the Seau Sangle in black, which I love, after seeing your full throated endorsement, and haven’t regretted a moment of its wear (I use my de-bobbler on the fabric strap to get rid of the fuzzies). Amazing how those two bags have stayed entirely free from signs of use. Getting ready to pull out my Loewe basket bag for summer. How goes Jacqueline? I purchased a second hand puzzle bag back in March from Tradesy but it ended up being a counterfeit 😩. Thankfully they refunded me, and I ended up getting a medium YSL Lou Lou from fashionphile instead, but I still have the puzzle bag on my radar for my next bag. You and Judith helped me fall in love with it!

I'm extremely scared of spiders, and don't like them in my house (in fact I will kill them if they get too close - sorry not sorry, it's my house and they are basically trespassing..) However, when I was a student I lived in an old apartment with very high ceilings. One day I spotted a small spider in the corner, and because I couldn't get to it, I decided to face my fear and let him live there. As a roommate if you will. I named him Peter (after a Danish nursery rhyme), and I would say good morning and goodnight to him. One day he was just gone. Never saw him again, and I frankly thought that was quite rude of him to move out and not say goodbye 😒

I just don’t get enough wear out of my small and large-sized bags. I’m going to stick to medium-size ones in the future, they give the most use for my lifestyle.

I think you’re definitely right about people reassessing their wardrobes and in particular their accessories since lockdown. great that you let Robert be (and Ernest). Yesterday I accidentally killed a spider and I am bummed out about it. I was loading the dish washer when I saw him on a plate, tried to get him out of the dishwasher and in doing so, probably wounded him mortally. I put him on the counter and tried to talk to him but it was too late.

Hi Emma love this honest summary thank you! I too had collected a number of bags and took some time a couple of years ago to review how much I used them all and whether the cost per wear was still vfm. I sold the majority and kept the few I loved and wore the most at the time . Then last year just before the lockdown got rid of almost all of the few that were left. I kept my Puzzle bag in black as it is my most used bag ( bought because of Judith!!) and one or two others and that’s it. They all now get used and have stayed a key part of my wardrobe as my style and taste has evolved. Loving your videos as always! ❤️❤️❤️

I just have no desire for anything with obvious branding on it. A tiny logo that you can only see close up is fine, but otherwise it just looks tacky or try-hard. Nothing makes me cringe more than something with GUCCI slap bang in the middle of it.

my 'only admire from afar' bag is celine box bag. i loooooove it when it's on another people like it's so chic, but when i use it i hate it. i don't look good wearing it, it's not complimenting all of my outfit (like i tried to wear all kind of outfit people wear with the bag, but none of them look good with the bag), it's so stiff that i can't close it with one hand, the hardwares are so sharp they often scratch me ugh i hate it but i always love it on someone else lol

Would love it if you could do an outfit for the week with 30 something degree weather. It’s hot where I am, we have no spring, no fall. It’s either hot half the year or cold for the other half of the year 🤣

I'm also re-assessing my handbags. I've already sold a few. I've owned 10-12 at the height of my luxury handbag obsession, now I'm down to 4. The Loewe Puzzle is still in the #1 spot. It's the only one I purchased new. I love that you called it a TARDIS bag! 😂I'm still loving my Celine and Chanel. On the fence about my last LV bag. It's out of production, and took a long time to find, so If I sell it it's likely gone for good!

The Gucci bag is so beautiful ❤️ pretty sure Ernest and Robert agree with that. My problem with Chanel bags is that they are just so valuable and I am basically scared to really use them.

I'm not particularly into designer bags, but definitely seeking durable, quality bags that will last years if possible. The Wandler style is lovely BUT those small straps on such a large bag when stitched on at the sides.......hmmm, suspect those would stretch/stitches would loosen over time if carrying heavy things. Attachment of straps is critical to bag longevity. Yes the Chanel straps look like a form of torture over the shoulder!

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one LYXBAG Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

I love the suede Gucci bag. It is so classic and chic looking. I agree that it is sometimes hard to wear suede. It is not really a summer bag, but then in the fall it rains so it is hard to wear. I bought a brown suede miu miu bag and have that dilemma. That being said, I would love to have that bag and I think you should keep her.

I bought the Hortensia from Wandler and I love it and use it quite a lot, but the leather it is indeed very smooth, I got a scratch the first time I used It and I was gutted.

I love the Loewe puzzle bag. 😭 I may have to bite the bullet.

The only issue with these basket and large bags is that if your below 5’8” feet tall - you shouldn’t carry them. They stunt your height and the bag wears you.

I don’t buy suede anything, bag or shoes, just too high maintenance. Only one I have is the YSL medium college in black suede.
