if you think about it.. back then, mayans didn't have electricity, hence; making it easier for them to stare at the night sky and know the stars... its not a coincidence that everyone at some point in history knows the study of stars, and build according to them. They did not have anything to distract them from viewing up at these beautiful glowing balls of light. We've managed to not have black outs(2017) it never fails...just think about it...I bet it was actually fairly easy for them lol
@eldenvedetta635
@eldenvedetta635 5 жыл бұрын
That doesn't explain how cultures like The Dogons knew about specific stars like Sirius A and B, I think B is the specific one that cannot be seen without modern telescopes, and they knew of its existence for DECADES before telescopes could see it. Their origin story says their God came from those stars, Sirius. And the Ancient Alien theory has PLENTY of evidence supporting it; that many Gods and worshipped beings of Ancient Times were actually just aliens. And that's a big reason many cultures likely knew of the stars, not so much just deciding to look at them. Because the Dogons weren't the only ones that knew far more than you could ever learn from just looking:)

Lola Pulkin I mean, I’m a Spanish speaker, i don’t speak it perfectly because i was born in the US so although I have 2 Spanish speaking parents I will never speak it perfect because of my accent but I do speak it at an advanced level, I still wouldn’t know how the fuck to pronounce “Mayantuyacu” at first glance so I’m sure you can understand why she would assume the narrator is Latina.

What type of people just stumble upon a huge ancient stone head in the jungle and decide "Hey, Look at this thing!" "Yeah, That looks like the perfect place for target practice.". WHAT?! I get that people say soldiers were brainless back then but I never believed it... How could you just decide to use any ancient monument as your own little destruction zone?

William Gadoury was criticized by scientists. He even said that, "I THINK SCIENTISTS ARE JEALOUS. SOMETIMES THEY ARE SCARED OF NEW IDEAS." I think that's true. These "scientists" are quick to criticize a child's theory. Good job uplifting a kid's self-esteem. A lot of good ideas were criticized by scientists which turned out to be true or useful.

In reference to the "Amazon rings" I like how the mentioned the Nazca lines that have virtually NO resemblance to the rings but failed to mention the underground water pump system at Nazca that DOES resemble the rings. Of course the rings would have to be excavated to know for sure but it's possible that they are one in the same.

Hi Katrina, Love your presentations! At your request, I actually have been to the Teotihuacan ruins. My crew and I spent a marvelous, unassisted day there back in 1971. I don't understand why modern man (scientists) consider ancient man to be stupid. Anytime "they" can't explain a feature, due to the fact that "we" don't know how it was achieved, ALWAYS attribute it to aliens. I guess modern man isn't as smart as they (the homo sapien-sapiens) think they are. After all, that would imply that we were created highly intelligent by the hand of God....in His image. :) (and "they" can't seem to handle that idea)

The Amazon Rings Are the Former Village Strongholds of the natives to protect against flooding. This was documented by a Spanish Explorer who said the amazon had villages everywhere. However 1 of his European colleagues had a flu or something similar. Which wiped out the natives who had no immunity. So they all became reclaimed by the amazon after their people's were decimated!

@chrisgabb9242 7 жыл бұрын
The second last one about the rings in the amazon jungle i watched a doc on it a few years ago it went on to point out at how all the tribes in the amazon jungle even to this very day tend to create circular clearings for whre they're villages lie.. It went on to prove how rhe amazone rain forest has effectively been man made through millennium.. And at the end process of the documentary wish i knew what it was called but they reckoned at some point probably far before the spanish and the portuguese conquest of south america that thre was a whole different potentially more efficient system to how cities are or a alternative idea to cities... Its was a really long and tbf boring but yet still really intresting documentary watched it about 2011 2012 got a feeling it might of been a bbc thing tbf.. Was really boringly done but a fasinating subject..

We're humans smarter back then than we are now Because if you think about it humans back then created so much things that helped us in so many ways today and now since we don't have as much time as we did back then we are starting to slowly create things and because were starting to become lazy and have A.I do the work that we should be doing. So that leaves me to the theory that humans back then were much more intelligent back then

9:21 the rings remind me of Irish and other Celtic Neolithic tombs! They were often burial grounds for royalty and ceremonial places. so you're telling me they found a sacrificial altar and a city, but no skeletons? are you telling me they went out of their way to hide the corpses or destroy them? I mean yeah, they could've burned them, but even that has left overs to be buried somewhere unless they could acchieve srsly high temps.

When it comes to The White City of the Monkey God, why did the researchers not come with any type of hazmat or protective gear? Or if they were so close that they got the parasite that they got it in their bodies, why did they not bring samples back from the City as to find a way to remove the parasite at least long enough to take some good pictures and reveal better detail of the previous civilization?
