I feel like alot of the people complaining have only ever played Mihyo games/WuWa. This feels like your actual typical gacha game where alot of the content is strictly in endgame modes, and exploration and side content is alot more sparce. They arent really meant to be played all day. Like its really crazy how brutal people are being, and im like this is the worst gacha you've played? This one? Oh you sweet summer children.

Ppl come to this game thinking it's going to play like genshin with more combos , but it actually plays more like a tag fighting game , and you have to keep combat mechanics in mind all the time it you want to win , you can't brute force / mash in this game and i like it .

The story may consist of basic tropes but it's beautifully served.

I had no idea what the TV system was before I started playing the game, because I refused to watch any gameplay footage on the game besides the characters demos. This was just so everything would be a surprise to me when I started playing on launch. But once everyone started crying about the TV system I got worried. Once the game launched though, I have no clue why people hate it so much I think it’s absolutely fine. People just need to think out of the box TBH.

I never expected that a game from Hoyo would be so hated, but it was. People seem to think that if this game hadn't been made, hoyo would have invested the money in genshin, but I don't think it works that way. This money would probably be used for yet another project. As for the game itself, I'm surprised that it's so good and I'll continue for now and see what it will look like in the future.

I'm having so much fun with zzz that I was genuinely shocked by the amount of hate...The more I play the more it feels like this game was made for me specifically😅. The characters are super fun and gorgeous, the storytelling is interesting and innovative with the comics + it's a very refreshing slice of life story without overbloating anything, combat is fun, engaging and not too hard, visuals and aesthetics are just insane, I can go on&on. 9/10 because I want more!

Im enjoying the hell out of it, i actually find myself paying attention to the story, which i haven't done for a long time. A lot of the hate comes from two things. First entitled children expecting to be given everything at the start instead of unlocking it through gameplay, and ppl expecting cheap hardware to play the newest thing.

Genshin and HSR were both super easy during the first many many hours. You kill 8 hillbillygoblins with one Genshin ultimate and feel powerful. Spiral Abyss and some of the bosses are more difficult. And in HSR it all comes down to team building and gearing up your characters. Content is hard if your build is horrible. Content is easy if you have E6 Acheron that kills everything immediately. Story has been well presented so far and the best thing about is that you actually understand what's happening without a dictionary or a lore video that explains the whole thing to you. There are no weird fantasy terms shoved into every single sentence and nobody so far has eight titles that mean the same character. Looking forward to more adult characters! I think that the TV is fun and pretty interesting!

As someone playing Genshin and Wuwa and am kind of fatigued from open world, my hot take is that I like the TV system in ZZZ, it can get creative and it's fun for me. 2x speed helps too. I also really like the combat in ZZZ a lot!

Honestly i didnt even know that so many people hate the game im having very much fun with it and honestly every video i watched and every person i talked to liked the game so its actually a bit surprising hearing its hated but i guess its because most of the playerbase started their "Gacha adventure" With Genshin and expected ZZZ to be Genshin but Combo heavy

really enjoying your videos. tbh i'm a very similar player , gacha is side game, and i also play FF14. Personally i love this game. I'm super burnt on Genshin after almost 4 years and this game is perfect for me atm.

The game is alright for what it is to me. It’s nothing amazing, but at the same time it’s not horrible. I personally think they could have maybe put a little more effort into adding better combo mechanics, especially since it’s not a open world game so they didn’t have to really focus on creating a nice open world. But meh either way I’m still gonna play it since it’s new, and as soon as I get bored I’ll drop it. PS. I got Ellen with 4 pulls, but pulled Koleda as my standard, so I decided to try a reroll and pulled a Rina with only 25 standard pulls, so I’m kinda torn on which account I want to use. Cause I feel like once Rina gets a S DPS she is gonna be fire.

Tbh I LOVE ZZZ. Combat's flashy and fun and I love the character designs. I've been playing gacha for about a decade though, I assume most of the people hating on it got into gacha with Genshin, ngl

Game is okay a solid 6/10 for me. The combat to me is simple. I’ve played about 8 hours and I’m at level 25. I’ve played a whole bunch of gachas so I know when a game is fun to play. I hope we get more characters that are not lolis.

I agree when it comes to the materials. Im Inter-Knot 33 currently and the only reason I had enough mats for all my agents is because I only used one team the whole way through and 2 of them are attack types so I only had to farm one kind of mat for them. I hope they increase the yields in future just by a bit or decrease how much mats it takes. Also there is a cap on refreshing stamina with your Polys. Can only do it like 5-7 times a day. I hope they remove that as well.

This videos is why you are my favorite creator on here Jaka. I really don't take the haters seriously. It's very clear they are the kind of Mihoyo tourists that this game does not need. Their opinions and ideas how to make the game better would actually make it so much worse. Can't wait for it to normalize. Loving it. And I personally thing Genshin gameplay is incredibly boring and stale. Every team plays exactly the same. You are literally only going for elemental effects no matter who is in your team. Wow how riveting. Let's not talk about the story at all. I'm coming from FGO aka the game with the best story in the gacha sector and it's not even close. I am loving ZZZ more low-stakes storylines. They are great. Definitely gonna be my second game I play.

So far I'm loving the game. It's something new, something fresh - love the art style. Havn't played CBTs so everything is new. The world & chracters are cool. Love the comic style storytelling as well.

Many people for some reason wait for some Genshin style game, but ZZZ more like PGR or HI3RD stage like structure. ZZZ more like classic gacha slasher. And it's only 1.0, and they will develop it further, created more battle and endgame mode's. I personallyi am very enjoy the game.

Some of my top 10 favorite games of all time are rated like 7/10, people like what they like and you shouldn't stop liking something just because CCs say so. Though you do have to ask yourself if you really like the game or if you're falling for sunk cost fallacy (whether in time or money).

Really? I been really loving this game so far (chapter 2 right now) the world and vibe is a complete 180 to what you see out there in games and feels like fresh air. Combat is good now not the same as wuwa but still good in it's own right, those perfect assist switches are very satisfying. They got something really cool here

the first gacha game i ever played was terrabattle and the combat was literally moving tile versions of your characters to flank the enemy to attack them. the complaints about the puzzle aspect of the game and the "easy combat" is not from real gacha gamers. its from genshin/hsr/ Wuwa players

The TV's I have no idea why ppl would complain about that it is 100% a dungeon crawler and the "tvs" is basically ur map, and I love the design and idea behind it but the reality is that ppl likes to b!tch about everything. For the stamina yeah I would hope at the very least to make the cap higher as u get more level I see no point in limiting ur reason to play the game don't they want u to stay hooked to the game and keep playing instead of logging in, do ur 2...4 battery games, and close it until next day (? that makes no sense to me.

The TV gameplay is so JRPG, which a lot are weird like that. Is it cool as first though, but gets very repetitive down the line. But I can also appreciate that for full immersion (being a proxy and not exactly in the hollow), they want to put TV gameplay in

It’s ok. But i have no clear idea about what I’m doing in the game. The menus are so convoluted, it took me awhile to figure out how to collect winnings and make pulls. I only one the S tier maid and one A character. I’ll play a little longer but it probably won’t be a main.

My fav gacha game EVER. Im not even exaggerating its so fun. Cant wait for all the new content and characters coming in the future.

I feel like the main problem with the game, is that the tutorial + prologue is 10 HOURS LONG. People ain't gonna stay for that long. I have the attention span to power through that but most people are not going to.

I'm enjoying a lot the game. It's very novel in it's storytelling ways. It's like you're on a long run anime. Edit: the only complain I have is that it seems a little too hard to get the limited banner currency. I didn't took long in HSR to have a guarantee on Seele.

I concur concerning TV. People bitching about how annoying those puzzles are but IMO some puzzle types in WuWa are 1st - more annoying, 2nd - completely out of character there and logical here.

So far, im liking the game. The only annoying thing is the pull rates. Im at 90 pulls and so far i got the wolf guy on the 40 pity and two new A ranks. Got excited when i got 2 S in one 10 pull only to find out they were W-engines.

I got Grace on standard and lsot the 50/50 to Koleda so I guess is balanced. Bu I also have a C6 Soukaku and Anton. I enjoy the game, I didn't got to play HI3 since the beginning but I played it for the story and I like the combat, although, you don't have the same parry system when you change characters, but is still fun. I love the music, especially the one when you pull the bass is so good. As for the furries, yeah, not a fan, but I don't mind them that much. Same for the kids, I just look at them as being kids, the father instinct kicks in, heh. Combat is nice, as long as it doesn't become a 10 min fight, constantly hitting a monster who has with 1 billion hp.

Hot take (maybe)... Tv thingie is actually fun, I enjoy a little bit of labirynth with some rewards and gimmicks, I just wish that they would let us change avatar that shows on tv. It's a shame too that maps are so tiny... I like to explore but there is not much to explore there XD The only thing I dislike in Tvs, is that 7777 lottery... that is just a time waster...

I low key love that ZZZ is not as popular as GI/HSR because atleast people that play the game can form there own opinion not like GI/HSR fans that feels like an echo chamber (pardon my english its not my first language😊🙏)

Im having a blast with this game tbh. I also love the fact that both MC are involved in the story regardless of whether you pick male or female (even though imo Belle is the best pick for the active lead role while Wise looks just like a computer nerd lol) The combat is so fun and well polished. The tag systems are engaging and stylish af, and the game isn't as brain-dead as some people make it out to be.

I think its a nice blend between nier automata and marvel vs capcom. I completely agree. every game does not have to be for everyone.

I also actually like the TVs as well, i think its a charming way to have some exploration in a non open world. I DO however want them to use it more sparingly, cause they kind of spam it every now and then. The fact that theyre getting rid of it for hollow zero is fantastic!

damn jaka you should give the hsr story a shot. penacony was pretty fun albeit wordy sometimes. the comic style of dialogue in zzz does make it easier to digest though so i've been really enjoying zzz

the only ones complaining are the "gacha players" that only played genshin, hsr and wuwa sadly they dont even know whats a real gacha game. If you hate on the game maybe try to play real gacha games that are not open world. Play Azur Lane, Dokkan Battle, DB Legends, AFK Journey, Pokemon Masters, DanMachi Memoria Freeze, Sword Art Online, Isekai Memories... and the list goes on

Its still a proper game than most gacha games which are just gambling simulator and filled with fan service. People that only play gacha games wouldnt appreciate the whole package including the presentation and the polish this game has.

From the commentaries on social media of all main stream gacha, the thing that I had understand that is the average age of players is low. And ZZZ is not popular because of that I guess. Youngs are into anime trope with fantasy, RPG, dungeon, wifu, blablabla, classic things (sci-fi works sometime too but always niche) and here we have a theme from 80s-90s LOL for them its for Boomers hahaha. The street now are not anymore filled by skateboarders, "art grafities", and rock/punk/good version of rap music. This things dont talk to them. And like it said in this video, the chara-design in this game are more closer to the reality criterias so they are more sober and less flashy. Gacha players are used to see clowns, all characters in gacha are just clowns within their own world, they are so different to the others people (NPC) because so colorful, extravagant outfits, etc ... that they are strangers to their own world. This is the things that I like more in PGR and Wuwa that is that (universe wise ofc), the characters are more in phase with their own universe. The difficulty of a game seems to be a very very niche concern from the community. The first thing that hook ppl in are the visuals, sadly. Gachas are strong to do "contemplative games". The majority of ppl strongly pull for the look of a character not for what it does. It seems graphics asset are more wanted that gameplay and all this ppl seam to search a "game" that not need to be played (I dont speak about the time to do activities but the types of activities themself) ... so paradoxical. And ofc if we speak about ppl that judge difficulty now ... fcking unfair and useless to judge at early/mid game, the only moment where we need to judge is at the END GAME CONTENT only ...

you make a great point about a lot of people being gacha only gamers so theyre expecting it to be their main game and fill all their time. i really feel bad for people who either only have a phone to game on or just for some reason choose to only play gacha. they need to play more games lol

The story is servicable but the overall presentation is so goddamn good that it elevates the whole aspect. This game has a lot of respect and appreciation for digital art and it really shows with that crazy comic storytelling and how many actual 2D art you can find in the game. And when they don't want to use comics they go full VN which is everything I ever wanted from Hoyo games because they really DON'T know how to use the camera or make the 3D models in the overworld not feel static. This is a problem Genshin and HSR have and when there's so much dialogue it just makes you not want to read anything. Interestingly enough even if WuWa first chapters were a pain to read through the overall direction of the game and the care they put into making more dedicated animations and actual scripts for the dialogue just makes the experiencie a lot better. The characters in ZZZ are also super fleshed and have real personalities and interactions between them, this is something Genshin is still lacking to this day except for some extreme cases like Alhaitham. I genuinely can't understand people that isn't into the story, they lead me to think that they can't enjoy a story that isn't about chosen ones saving the world and traversing through the cosmos to be the hero that will defeat the demon lord. Dialogue is good, characters are fun and ejonyable, story is interesting enough, presentation is stellar and the overall setting is a breath of fresh air, I'm enjoying a lot compared to Belobog, Xianzhou or Genshin until Sumeru and I don't even think is a me thing, there is so many things much better done here.

The biggest criticism I have for this game is its banner rates. I think this is a fun game but overall in terms of content, investments and scale of this game is not where near Wuwa or Genshin or HSr, which is fine and is the case for most other gachas. With that being the case, this game has same banner rate as HSR feels insulting to me. Especially the weapon banner, it is just an icon with no in-game models, and this is till 90 hard pity with 75% drop rate sounds too greedy to me. it should at least be 100%. Overall I think this is a fun game but I think it is way over-priced thus I probably gonna stay F2p for this

Completely agree with your takes jaka, a lot of down votes comes from hard gatcha only gamers, quite elitist, and thats a so small percentage of the target public, for a regular gamer who play like a gatcha or two and have some background like fighting games and action roguelites this is a really solid game. In my case i love the easy start and the light work on doing the dailys, i just play r99 and hsr too but i once was a PGR player, and let me tell you that game burns me like crazy, every farm and casual task requieres a lot of concentration and dedication to the game and that, at least for me, was unrealistic, so i love the way myhyo took this genre

I like the story I like the TV aspect. The gameplay is fun. I collect characters because of how strong they are and not necessarily how they look now if they’re an adult woman and they’re pretty that’s a plus. I play a lot of different games but mostly souls games and adventure games. I recently started playing Gacha games like Genshin hsr and ww and my personal opinion is that I think this game fits right in 🤷🏻‍♂️

its all because people think selecting challenge mode in story is the end game difficulty ....these people a judging the difficulty of the based on story content , like has there been a gacha game where story content is hard. to solve the issue dev should make challenge mode actually hard like hollow zero etc.

The TVs are harmless, Their cool little puzzles I'm fine with them. I'm enjoying the combat more and more as the difficulty ramps up. I haven't tried the hard mode versions of the story missions they should spice things up even more.

Yep 6.5 out of 10 is the perfect rating for me, overall it's a fun game and we're still in the first week of it so we can't pretend too much rn. I'll keep playing it simultaneously with WuWa (amazing I'm not a hoyo/wuwa braindead fan)

Overall its ok, same problems as all hoyo games: combat is good and fun, characters well designed, extremely good animation, but almost everything else is bloated and not really fun. The TV screen stuff is a huge cop-out as they didn't want to add large/medium size areas to explore, and its understandable as the main audience is mobile not PC and consoles. Personally I'd love to see way more combat and larger/longer combat areas that are more interesting to explore, the layout of combat areas currently feels like a playstation 1 game, its just way too basic.

I’ve only ever played genshin and could never get into it. I’m having tons of fun in ZZZ. TVs aren’t as annoying to me as I’ve heard others say because it’s a nice break from constant fighting like in other modes and it never goes on for too long. My main complaint is definitely how much stamina is used to farm materials. I feel like you can’t get much done at all, yes it’s a gacha game but I think its in need of tweaks. Actually another issue I have is trying to figure out where to find all the events. And not once have I seen a character in the open world to increase loyalty.

i don't know why ppl look for Challenge in gacha games all the games are EZ it's only a DPS check in zenlees in the story mode monsters are not that hard but when i go to the hollow zero and fight the dead end Butcher It was kind of a challenge because he attacks really fast and you have to Stan him TV is fine i didn't hate it overall the game for me is 8/10 and It will probably be better with every new update

I can understand the hate, however the argument used to hate this game is incorrect. It is not a bad game by design. Very polished. In short, they said combat would be the focus and while it is the focus of gameplay that the player actually takes part in, the real focus of the game is the story and the world-building. Holy fk is the story fantastic, and I'm the guy they made skip buttons for in the first place. I literally will skip story in games like Assassin's Creed because I find them so mundane. So because of the false perception they gave of the game before release, it's understandable. Lucky for them the story was so good, it provided a safety net against me hating the game in entirety. It's not like I believe the game system are bad by any means, I just believe them to be extremely mid and simplistic by design. The story is well-crafted, much different than their other titles and a trope not commonly explored. And honestly any time this urban environment trope is explored, it's always through a different avenue. Even in anime, it's rare to find two urban themed animes follow the exact same storyline. The cutscenes and cinematics are mind-blowing. I keep saying this about Wuwa, but if you put them all together, it would make an amazing little movie. This is 10x true for this game as well. The music is some of the best in the entire genre. Also ties in with the vibe and art style of the game. And while simple is often times used as an insult, it is refreshing to not have a tryhard gacha system that rewards the casual experience as well. I do want Souls-like games here and there, but when every game releasing decides to be a Souls-like... what happens when I just want to relax and mindlessly spend my leisure time? This game is perfect for that as the commitment to play is low asf. I do not feel obligated to penny-pinch every bit of stamina, to rush the story, to reach endgame with maxed out characters and stats. I feel like I'm allowed to slow down, read, enjoy the things I collect, learn the systems, the characters, and the situation the story is centered around. I mean, I quit Genshin, but played so much and I still can't tell you what the point of my character's existence was. Wuwa gives me a similar vibe, but the combat is so good and the endgame is challenging enough to keep me engaged. This game is the opposite the combat is so mid that it allows me to focus on the story and take a breath to actually understand the world, and I like what I've seen so far. The reality is, I don't need 10 games like Wuwa. Wuwa scratches a bit of my MMO itch, but because it's a gacha, the content is super limited. Having a game like ZZZ alongside Wuwa will help my overall enjoyment factor when gaming. But idk I don't personally care how the internet receives this game as long as it continues production. I like it for what it's good at and that's all I really care about. If I wanted a combat focused gacha of recent times, I'd just go play Wuwa.

It's already better then WuWa, At a minimum, when fighting with many enemies, you can adequately parry their attacks. The plot is already much more interesting, the characters are different, and not as in WuWa, one vanilla type.

My problem is there is no exploration

I knew a lot of these woke players would not like ZZZ once it was released mainly because of the world/exploration and combat, I'm not a fighting game fan, especially arcade fighting games, but I still enjoy the combat in this game

It's my favorite artstyle out of every gacha out there both the cinematic and comic style, and combat is really fun i'm not asking for more. Also i understand your pain, rerolled for grace got her on the 5th time after 3 soldier 11 and 1 rina (would have kept that acc if i was getting bored of rerolling cause she's my 2nd favorite). I've never rerolled but about 50min to get the guaranteed 5* isn't that bad. The only thing worrying me is the amount of lolis right from the start of the game.
