Beck is friggin awesome, her vibe just says she has to be so fun to hangout with. And Brittany is just always so darn gorgeous and very informative on everything she talks about. And just love Kevin's energy, and Chris's skills are just so awesome to watch as he does what he does best.

Anybody else notice how Chris's steady pace and consistency kept everyone moving along? There's a real "team" vibe building here guys. Love how everyone has found a role and each is totally unique.

I installed a 5 point harness on my recliner and moved the mini fridge within reach in prep for the race. Sorry it was so stressful for you all. Seriously, I know just thinking about the race had to be stressful leading up to the race. I spent the whole day tracking you and watching the live stream as so many others did. We are not spammers. I think people don't realize the number of your followers, and it looks like spamming when a few start to cheer you on. I think just entering KOHs takes balls and you've entered and finished twice now. Your TEAM, Chris and Bec are amazing. You're both amazing and I'm so proud to be a fan of yours. Thank you.

I dunno if it's possible, but I know construction equipment like the tractor I used at the camp I worked at, had a dual air filter setup. So there was a filter in a filter. The initial took out most of it , and the secondary took out the fines. Typically you'd change the primary more often. Something to think about for other projects or for next year. Good luck guys I hope you knock it out of the park!!

Kevin, the intake manifold on the LS engines can be flipped around backwards, this will let you stick the filter further back by the drivers area and out of the direct kickup of dust up front.

I want to throw out a huge GREAT JOB at the KOH!! I watched you two from the hillside overlooking Turkey Claw!! Sooo many big names and full-time race teams didn't even finish and you two finished!! Big accomplishment on this World Class torture race!!

Again so proud of you guys..and how well y’all have done. sat and watched y’all all day yesterday on the live feed. I think it’s funny that they moved y’all’s coverage all over to premium. but they’re trying to get the fans to pay up, I get it. 19th place finishes is just fantastic! Just to Finnish again. Outstanding look behind the scenes. I said this on the FB page last night and I will say it again here. Races are won and lost in two places. One is on the track and the other is in the garage. Chris and Bec's attention to detail on the car in the garage paid off in no breakages in the race. Outstanding work by all to place 19th in the world's toughest one day off road race. I know that 82 other challengers that would have traded places with your finish. Strong work you guys and gals.

Yeah Kevin,, if you can get that intake up in cleaner air you'll save that fine dust sanding going on in the cylinder bores. Also, ditch that filter for a huge pleated filter. Have Chris build a Snorkel and patent it. Air intake up high out of the engine heat.👍👐👍

Wow. 96 started KOH and only 19 finished with you guys placing 13th. Very well done! Great prep by the team and can't wait to see the KOH videos.

Great job LB team. Here's a tip for the stomp shear. Position the piece on your cut line. Stand on the pedal with both feet to clamp the piece. Lift one leg like a stork, stomp down with that lifted leg. This method keeps the piece from moving vs. a "jump" cut.

Brilliant marketing method…release a pre-race video thanking and mentioning all the companies that make the 999 car happen …the day after the race! The other cool thing is my buddies who raced KOH in 2011 were the 999 car…Benz buggy from Cincinnati.

i just lift my hat, slapping together a 4400 U4 buggy and race with it, spectacular, and finishing both races you entered, mind boggling, specially when comparing how big names you left in the dust!

Congrats guys I was at Turkey Claw yesterday at the start of the race it was 22degrees, good thing you had some panels to protect you from the wind. 🙂

I think your preparation was on on point I think the amount of heart and dedication that you people put into what you're doing comes through on the end that's why you're able to finish the race every time

I've worked days at a time on a larger Baliegh stomp shear. The engineer that was my boss eventually converted it to electric with a linear actuator. After about a week straight in manual mode I got a knee pad and started pushing it down with my knee. (I'm old with a f#ćked up back. You make adaptations if you want to keep building).

You can install a pipe from the intake facing the firewall so its not sucking in dust its a old mudders trick for mud bogging

Can you guys run a particle separator to help with the engine air filter? I don't know what the rules are. S&B and KWT are two brands that come to mind.

💯 33:17 . I was listening to you about wiring My Dad is a licensed HVAC he’s semi retired now Days we work together I have I learned so much on Testing, relays capacitors motor windings grounds. Open circuit Closed or not . Remembering is what a like 👍. I have a little songs I DO :) The green goes to the green wire the blue goes to the blue wire. Yellow goes to the orange one. . When you wrap your head Around It’s it’s it a run …. Y I really enjoyed RC stuff. The technology goes in it !

After seeing the amount of dirt that the K&N let into the intake I would be very concerned and I would bet that the engine will need refreshed for next year. Might want to explore a high quality dry element filter for the induction system.

I figured out your Air Filters. Just like your helmet 🪖 Pump the clean 🧽 Air in to your intake Kit. Or you could. Run two Air cleaners with a Y connector on the Air intake. You will have more Air and TWO filters on both sides Two ways to doing it. ✅.
