Griezmann, Varane, Butland, Lacazette, Alaba, Aubameyang and De Gea were actually good predictions. EA predicted they would be well above average, and that's what they've become. You don't want them to precisely predict how good a player will become, right? They don't have time machines

CUZimEPIC you can usually google it and it'll come up. I did that for FIFA 17 for the potentials of young players and it told me the overall rating and the potential they can be

you honestly can't blame EA for misjudging a player's future rating. EA are not fortune tellers. Most people in this video changed for the better because a change in the career, like Pogba moving to Juventus and develop greatly over which EA wouldn't even thought of. So I wouldn't 100% blame EA for doing this.
