I really want you to make a MacBook vid for students that doesn’t include video editing because most of us just want to do basic browsing and presentations but at a budget price anyways keep up the great work👍

Most students, and this is because most students don't use the power of their computers, can easily survive with a 2017 i5 MacBook air at 256GB. Heck, they'd thrive. Only issue would be battery life but that's where the charger in your bag comes in. None of the M1 models is a "need" for students. It's way too powerful for what must students need (reading PDFs, browsing the web, writing and media).

I just want a laptop to learn some photoshop and video editing for my KZfaq where I don’t put much edited videos. Very simple editing. Mostly my work consists of emails, spreadsheets, light to medium video editing, movies etc. which one should I go for, Aur M1 or M2 Air (13” or 15”) ??

While NVMe SSD price on Amazon is affordable, I wonder if those SSD can be installed on MacBook Pro M2? For example, if I have 512GB SSD internal storage in MacBook M2 Pro, can I buy 1TB or 2TB SSD from Amazon then install it on to the MacBook Pro M2 for additional internal SSD storage?

Thanks for all the tips, I look forward to your reviews. I've got that UGREEN 100W charger and it's a solid device. Just a thought on portable storage devices: I use them too for the cost savings, and I format them as exFAT. That way both my Apple and Windows computers can read and write to them.

I got my 3 monitors up and running but the arrangement doesn't stick after waking from sleep. None of the fixes I've researched work. Do you have issues with this yourself?

Interesting - mine works - it just takes a few seconds. I'll let you know if I figure something out.

@@TechGearTalk After a bit more research and trial, I find that it will stick after a few seconds with an exception. I have two on the bottom and one on the top. The top monitor will not save in place while the bottom two will. No matter what, after wake, the top will be shoved back to the end. I just got a new MacBook, so I'm going to try and see if I get the same results. Thx a bunch!

That's never been an issue for me with anything I've done. But technically, I believe only additional RAM reduces swap.

I won't buy another Macbook Pro until they fix the battery swelling problem. These laptops just don't last in a humid climate, even when your home is air-conditioned. And then they charge you to replace a faulty battery. My iPads last forever and I can do photo editing and other things on them easily. I just wish they were as versatile as a laptop. Now if they would get a better quality charging port that doesn't stop connecting after a couple of years, that would be great.
