Know what you’re getting into before you cast off. Adjust throttle to time the swells, never back off fully and never take abeam seas, pivot on the peak and slide down the side. Just like my dad told me to do when mogul skiing ⛷

Some of these boats HAVE to be full of stress cracks I would think. I don't own a big water boat I run a 20ft bass boat but seems it would work the same. Some of those impacts halfway the hull look rough as hell on the boat

Sharp eyes man, you can see it floating away on the way back in. That is just stupidity. Stupid is, as stupid does. 12-15k floating away. He probably got it back. I wonder if those jet ski have some type of registration like the vessel? I'm not a boater. I would think there is a checklist one should go through before you venture out? Like how a pilot checks his plane or I check my classic car for a ride? Tires, oil, coolant, turn on car, gas, seatbelt, mirrors, operating temperature, I'm clear to go.

It looks like Spellbound was in some trouble at 3:45. He couldn't keep his heading and started a little broach. What kind of boat was that? What is the speed of the outgoing current in that inlet?

I don't even live near an ocean so I may be incorrect, but I believe it all depends on the tides and wind speed of course. I haven't got a clue as to what the numbers would be but I believe that the current changes with the tides and, as you can see with Spellbound, the currents there can be dangerous. I hope that helps a bit.
