Motat's Steam Live Day 2023 - Western Springs Railway (HD)

On Sunday 21st May 2023, Motat held their annual live steam day. And I went along to film the Western Springs Railway in operation! While F180 & Y542 were running the passenger service between Waititiko & Keith Park, L507 was running shuttles backwards and forwards from Waititiko to the backshunt.
Seen towards the end of the video is a top n tail consist with F180 & L507 up the front, and Y542 pushing from the rear!

I'm an American rail fan but I'm guessing this is 3 ft 6-gauge and country of origin maybe in New Zealand if I'm wrong please let me know I'm just very curious interesting video thank you have a great day

@@rikisimeti7955 awesome I'm glad I got that right I like South Africa and Australia and New Zealand locomotives are cool looking and you guys got a lot more awesome sounding whistles I don't know why the British have those high pitch fingernail on chalkboard whistle I don't understand but I'm glad at least new zealanders have a lot cooler sounding whistles thank you for replying have a great day
