I appreciate that Ninten gets a group attack that isn't PSI. I was always annoyed he never got any offensive moves. Like, I get he's too wholesome to use offensive PSI, but he has a bat, so...

I always HC’d Ninten as being the most ”delinquent” of the playable protagonists of M1-3. Something about the fact he just goes off on his own without needing a bug to tell him a prophecy, the fact he drives a tank, the way he fights Teddy on stage, helps blow up a lab, can get arrested for attempting to drink alcohol, etc. made it feel right. Kid doesn’t need offensive PSI, he just has his slingshot and bat. Unlike Ness, he can actually use the slingshot well too. The only thing that slows him down is asthma lol

Yeah his only remotely offensive PSI are 4th dimension slip and Powershield Like come on, *Give him Paralysis or SOMETHING* Paralysis? Braincyclone? *DARKNESS??* No. The boy just gets stat buffs and debuffs, and Hypnosis. Come on...

IIRC Nintendo can't really do anything about EarthBound fan content, since Shigesato Itoi co-owns the IP, and thus all EarthBound-related business decisions have to go through him. Since Itoi's pretty chummy about fan content, EarthBound fan projects tend to have much more freedom compared to other Nintendo IPs.

@@AwHellNAW-qy7pc If I remember, Mother 4/Oddity was changed from their own volition instead of Nintendo having anything to do with it And didn't the basically confirm the game was simply a fan animation and wasn't really intended to become a real game?

This looks awesome, also really liked the idea of characters having skills along with their PSI Magic, i wonder if Jeff's infinite Tools (like Bazooka) could be considered Skills instead of using up inventory space

The devs have explicitely shot down the possibility of Ninten getting a PK favorite thing multiple times.

Respecting the psi moves that Ninten learns in the original game, I don't think they will add him psi offensives. But with the Skills section it could compensate

I personally hope not. Makes him more distinct from those 2. His ability to break time and space to escape and use telepathy already makes me super distinct, sure, but it also means Anna is more unique on the team too.

I always liked the idea of him having a move called PK Melody. Made sense given everything and who made the eight melodies to begin with. However as we all know, thats not happening.

I recently uploaded that video but I haven't included the Mother Encore part because Starman Junior does a lot of damage but it doesn't K.O. Ninten like the original Mother one.

this would not be able to run on GBA, on the FAQ on their website it says that romhacking tools are nowhere near advanced enough to make this in mother 3 Porting it to GBA would require entirely rebuilding the game from the ground up
