For the girl asking about R&D jobs in the agricultural sector. I wouldn't suggest coming to Pakistan because being a fresh biological science graduate, the scope of biotechnology is pretty limited in Pakistan at the moment. Yes, research jobs are growing day by day but we are still pretty behind. The salaries are also ridiculously low compared to the nature of work. Even one of my lab heads during internship told me that research alone isn't enough to run the kitchen in Pakistan unless you have a PhD degree or are a lecturer or assistant professor in a Pakistani university.

For the R&D question, research in Agriculture is taking place at universities like LUMS and NUST. The pay may also be good. You should try to research in such places.

Scope of Biotechnology is not much in Pakistan. You will see almost all the universities offering this subject upto PhD level but when it comes to job in this subject. Their is no particular jobs demanding this subject. and it is just considered as equivalent subject to other biological subjects. R&D department is also not a good choice to focus on in Pakistan.Research facilities in Biotechnology are too less as compared to other countries,so its not a good option for that girl asking. I am saying this all with my experience being a post graduate in Biotechnology.

I am phd in molecular biology. For girl asking R and D in Agriculture in Pakistan, there are research groups in universities, but funds are short, facilities are not up to date as in Canada. Salary will be around a lac , be it public or private university. Settle in Faisalabad, they have agricultural university, hopefully with enough funds at moment😅. Just read publications coming from Pakistan.

R&D Jobs in Agriculture Sector - Don't come to Pakistan for medical research or anything in related to Biotech / Micro. A total waste of time, academics offer degrees upto PostDoc as part of education business but very less jobs in this sector with 0 development. Mostly graduates of this field are working as lecturer / teacher without any productivity. Even if you get the job, salary range would be 75000 - 120000 PKR

Lol.. that's not true. Polygamy and cousin marriage is halal in Islam but both things aren't considered universally right. Also, pork is haram but it's a nutritious meat with zero health risks.
