The mother is a narcissist. I have an aunt who treated her daughter like this. When the daughter became an adult, she moved far away from her mother. She's in her 30s now and doesn't want to have anything to do with her mother. Ended up taking medication for anxiety and depression.

It doesn't matter if she was on drugs, alcohol, etc. The way she treated her daughter was cruel and selfish. Have you ever dealt with narcissistic family members? I have. They are like children in an adults body and are toxic. One of the signs you know you are dealing with a narcissist is that they crave attention. They put themselves ABOVE their children. Just like what you saw in this clip. It was a form of rejection.

Hell her daughter would’ve probably been on drugs and alcohol if she wasn’t rescued from her mom….
