John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. We are so privilege having a loving God. Come to the Lord with a humble heart. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. God is great and merciful! And it is really a blessing to know Him. Jesus is the answer!

You are taking a wonderful first step by asking this question. "When you allow your soul to be saturated with grace through prayer, the sacraments, and a constant effort to remain united to God throughout the day, then you will begin to live your ordinary life divinely." (Mustard seeds, Dynamic Catholic) This actually works. In society today we are saturated in everything that is not God. Hugs and prayers to you

Sweet Soul, I used to feel the same way before I met my spiritual teacher. There are many ways to begin to connect to God. Many Saints have said that spiritual enlightenment come by simply feeding the hungry. If you can even only do a little, you can simply start to help in some small way.

after reading and watching you tube videos of mother Teresa's devotion and love for many unfortunate human beings, from different nations, all colors and walks of life........ I came to the conclusion that I could be a lot kinder, loving, understanding, a better mother, better wife, a better everything..because I learned through her wonderful compassion for mankind, and her thrist to rid the world of suffering that when people ask God why a human beings made to suffer? Why haven't you sent help? I always imagine Gods response to be, I have sent you,(meaning all of us)!

What a GREAT Talk! You can have the kind of Faith that moves mountains, but if do not have LOVE,.........you have nothing! How can you say you love God who you have Not seen, yet you do not love your brother who have seen? THIS, is the core and the Heart of what Jesus taught. Nothing else matters unless you love your brother! Because Jesus said that if you have shown love to your brother, you have shown love to HIM! I have FINALLY!!!,.. learned this in the past three years.

if you are looking for God, He will come to you. You don't need to be in some way or another; the moment you meet with Him, your life will change and your love for Him will make you a completely different person, with a completely different point of view. You will understand everything that can't be understood fully by mere words, you will love Him, and thus everybody else, and you will be free and happy. Don't worry, it's more simple than you think. I also worried and I am quite thoughtful.

@cooldude15k The important thing is that you try to believe and not expect a full faith to come quickly. It is a journey in faith -- for some the journey takes a long time. But while you are on that journey God is with you. God Bless and keep you safe.

@cooldude15k questioning life is not a bad thing. In fact is a healthy part of being human. I love Jesus but I still have so many questions - unanswered ones too. But they help me seek - I am always seeking for God through my questions. And he always reveals himself to me as I bring myself to him - questions, hurts, pain and all. When he answers, it's not what I expected...it's more! Try taking your questions to him - He is giving them to you so you can use them to come to Him!

We actually have no idea who is the closest to God. It could be someone who, on the face of it, seems the most wretched of us all, but inside, they have given everything to God, and nothing stands between He and them. We ourselves must try to do our best.

Part 4 In other words, we can be like God or God-like or we can behave in a godly manner when we too show benevolence or affection for others, by holding or having their well-being close to our heart; especially the well-being of those whom we don't know; because, it is easy to promote the well-being of those whom we do know and/or are related.

Part 3 The Bible conveys God’s love for humanity; and, as Mother Theresa so eloquently stated, one of the main ways we express our love for God is to love other people. God Is Love (New Testament’s book of 1 John 4:16b). God is the very definition of love, which, again, means "to show affection for". Although this definition also implies a sensual (having to do with the physical sense) type of affection, when it comes to God it speaks more of a moral, deliberate type of compassion.

Read the diary and teachings of Saints like Saint Therese oF the Child Jesus, Saint Anthony, Sain Francis. These type of readings are very inspiring and you can learn to connect throuhg the words a feelings of people who where very close to God and had great faith. Saint Edith Stain for example was an Atheist Jewish and became a believer thanks to the teachings of Santa Teresa de Avila. Be patient my friend and God Bless you!

I've done so many bad things in life. I feel like I have angel wings but the horns on my head are weighing me down. I'm so confused and I don't know anymore. I want to love God because I know deep in my heart that it's my nature to love Him. What if it's too late for me? What if He already closed the door and left me out? Do you He'll still really love me even if I've done so many actions against his will? Because I've said sorry so many times but I always repeat the same sins.

@cooldude15k Dw your not alone I question things all the time. The lord works in strange ways, I came to believe originally through philosophy and religious study, I saw that all world traditions taught a common values even how distant they were. But really I see god in people's actions of goodwill. When ppl act in love and compassion for their fellow being. That is where I encounter God
@aleazlor112 жыл бұрын
@cooldude15k faith is not only determined by a feeling. God lives in others, specially in the needed, believe that, believe in the possibility of Gods kingdom and his justice where you´re at and that´s most of what faith is about. The following of Jesus christ not only resides in feelings, it resides also in your head (adhering to Gods kingdom values of love and justice), in your hands and in your feet (searching, serving others, relieve of suffer). God bless you.

The key to learning how to love God is learning how he first loved you! By sending his beloved son to pay your sin debt and suffer, so you wouldn't have to to. @ Cor 5:21 says "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"

Another technique is to put the picture of some saint that you feel connected to - whether it be Jesus, Gandhi, Mother Theresa, or whoever touches your heart, in front of you. Put a candle there and look at the photo for ten minutes everyday(or more if you like.) Connect with that soul and heartfully ask them to help you connect to God in your life.
