Actually no trust me in the right lighting you can see a big difference and when you have a wedding the lighting is everything in artificial light some dresses looks amazing but in natural light it look so ugly .

you'd notice it more if you put the dresses beside each other,there is a very slight difference between them. The pure whites shine more and also really part themselves from the rest of the body while cream kinda melts together with your skin.From what I've seen cream looks really weird with some skin colours though and pure white sometimes stands out a bit too much .personally I like ivory because it looks like white with a gentle shade on it.

I thought the same thing about the daughter not wanting to make her mom pay more just for a white that's already a shade away from another white. I also thought the mom's dress for her daughter was perfect.

If I were in the same position, I would say the same. I would not pay $1000 extra to buy a dress that theoretically is in a different shade of color but actually nobody can tell the difference.

If you wear your dress with confidence people will love it. My dress was designed just for me, nobody with me. I paid for it myself. Even my shoes where in exactly the same color. My mother and grandmother saw my dress on the day I got married. They were a bit wide eyed when it came out of the bag. As soon as I wore it they loved it. My mother did my hair with a ribbon from the same fabric of me dress. She was very happy to do that for me. My grandmother painted my nails with her nailpolish. That's the way they contributed to my wedding. You do you Cindy. Whatever color you want.
