They don’t care about that boys well being, and they aren’t concerned he is malnourished. They took him into their custody because mom challenged them which pissed them off.

Since when does cps get to override patient’s right and the right to a second medical opinion? They don’t even know anything about medicine, how can they say that going to a different hospital is not an option? OF COURSE ITS A DAMN OPTION!

CPS are the biggest human traffickers, I followed this young lady story for several years on IG and how she was paralyzed, she’s been a true inspiration and wonderful mother and human being. I pray for his safe return.

I went to school with her and this saddens me , so many kids that are actually suffering getting beat , people not caring for them properly & cps dose nothing for them , but takes away a baby from his mother when clearly She just wanted a second option for her child’s well being … That’s sick ..

This mother is smart by not allowing a drug that has not been approved to be administered to her son. They are so quick to remove on medical neglect in cases like this; and allow a child who is truly being abused to remain in the home until the child is killed by the parent; or a unfit caregiver.

But they let SO many kids get unalived who really need to be taken away! The child not eating could be from him having a disability like autism. I hate people.

I am starting to get so pissed off with CPS. They take kids away from the good families but keep them with the bad families and so many kids are ending up hurt or dead! Give this woman her baby back!!

I wouldn't want to give my kid an untested medication, but that doesn't mean I'm neglecting him. Means I wanna make sure he's going to get something that will help and not hurt him more.

Amazing! I have a grandson named Josiah that has similar issues because he was premature and was intubated which led to an aversion also. It really had to do with what the hospitals policies were for feeding him. I objected also but my concerns were ignored. Some of the more senior nurses were on my side but couldn’t do anything about there procedures. I was also very vigilant about medications that were given to him but because they are the professionals they wouldn’t change their approach. He now has autism and I wonder if all that was given to him contributed to his condition.

CPS workers strike me as the type of person that gets a worthless college degree - with no true career option outside of waiting tables at a diner or working a governmental job. Yet, those same people with that sort of bad judgment are given the power to manage and dictate what you and your family can and cannot do. I’m not surprised in the least that this CPS worker, with her incredibly poor judgment, doubled down on this case for no valid reason while ignoring the real abuses out there. I find this absolutely disgusting.

I wonder if the mom was given the opportunity to request a medication that wasn't as potent as the first option? She didn't have to leave the hospital there is more than one drug. Unless he has a resistant bacteria. Instead of intravenous, could oral can be given over a 10 or 14 day course? Does the baby have a fever, + blood cultures or elevated WBC? Was the foot oozing with drainage? Was he dehydrated and not eating because of the infection? The news report mentioned sepsis related to the foot infection which could lead to death. I wish she would have stayed in the hospital or requested to hospital transfer. Call an ambulance to transfer her to the nearest hospital.

It proves my opinion. You can be a great parent and CPS will take your child. You can be horrible parents and “oh we need to give these children back and give parenting lessons “…WTH. Now are there RIGHT CASES OC course but I’m aware of 2 cases in Kansas in which 1 child was found in an outside dog run cage. Covered in crap , bruised, malnourished yet 6 weeks later he was returned. Another a Father filed reports, neighbors filed reports and 5 times CPS came and did nothing yet the mother after putting her children to bed went outside at 11pm, got a rock, came back in and bludgeoned her 11 year old son to death .

As a mother and a aunt you have the right to take ur child/children to another place to get a second opinion on things because u know whats best for them and u also have the right to refuse there treatment and especially if they were trying to give that child a medication that hasn't been fully cleared yet how do we know if that shot would've harmed him or be fatal something inside of it he could be allergic to and that would be on the hospital and CPS doing not the mother she had every right to refuse that as a parent u cant force someone to take something that there not comfortable or familiar with risking what could've happened its a damn shame how CPS wants to step in and act like they own all the kids out here let me tell you one thing they are not ur property u don't own them neither does the school's we don't own them the Lord blessed us with children to raise them to love and care for them and for them to pass those same values to there families as they get older nobody owns anyone may this beautiful mother get her precious little boy back soon 🙏❤️

God bless the pediatricians that said something. I had a doc that wasn’t happy when I advocated for my daughter. The nurse listened to my frustrations and gave me the name of another hospital. I went there and they helped me so much sooner than the other doc ever did. The docs themselves don’t call CPS. That was likely a social workers doing.

Meanwhile really abused children are allowed to remain In the home of their abusers, go figure🤷🏻‍♀️
