I bought my first c.scope- the CS3Mx-i Pro about 3 months ago and its been excellent in finding the loot. I use it in some of my detecting videos. Love it!

this company has amazing customer service and really puts others to shame, the precision sensitivity and accuracy of these machines really is noticeable

Just got onboard of ur site. I'm from Kansas , but a die hard British bike fan. If the c scope machines are as well built and dependable as the Triumph motorcycles I've had , then I'm in. IL be looking very seriously at the c scope line for my next machine.

Getting one soon. Hope it's a good choice although I have researched a lot of detectors in this price band.

My first md back in the hobby,was the 3mxi(which i still enjoy),got other mds that stung the bankbalance,and think beep and dig on the tone is more fun and productive than mds with all the bells and whistles, that clipped tone on iron with cscope mds really helps if shown to a new user, so they keep their confidence in the detector. atb hh buy british!

When adjusting the threshold, do you have to have that constant beep or will it not work if you turn it lower than the beep. Thanks.

+evoermine Hi, you can run it without the background tone if you like. For maximum depth and running quiet, turn the sensitivity control to just below the point where the sound is breaking through. Call us (01233) 629181 if you have any other questions.

+C.Scope Metal Detectors Hi, thanks for your reply. I'm going to buy either this or the 4mxi but as a novice the 'discriminate 2' knob of the 4mxi baffles me, despite reading lots of info and watching some videos! When I get a signal am I supposed to then switch to Disc 2? Guess it's a learning curve. However I have seen it cheaper than the 3mxi so I'm probably better buying it and hopefully using the features when I understand them. Cheers.

+evoermine Hi, The CS4MX has two discrimination channels, Disc 1 and Disc 2. With the toggle switch set to Disc 1, The rotary control called Disc 1 is operative, you set your discrimination level to what ever level you desire. The Disc 2 rotary control only works when the toggle switch is held in the Disc 2 position. When this is the case, the Disc1 rotary control is then disabled. The idea of this is so that you can switch between 2 levels of discrimination and do an analysis without having to adjust your initial settings. IE I use disc 1 set to 2 and disc 2 set to 5. If I here a bleep, then I know it is not a small bit of iron as I am using a disc setting of 2. If I now select disc 2 using the toggle switch, I am now using a disc setting of 5. If I still get a bleep, it is going to be a coin or item of jewellery, however if I no longer hear a bleep, it is probably a piece of tin foil ?. I hope this helps ?
