Can I just say even being pregnant and being a mom Kalyn is still the best big sister to all of us, because this video is EXACTLYYY what I needed to hear right now. I've been healing and relaxing and taking things slow since first week of May because I REALLYYY needed it, and now I'm healed and well rested enough to get on with the new phase of my life!! it's basically GO TIME and she's helping me get on with it.

Thank you for talking about falling off routine. It's important to know that we aren't always in the same state emotionally and physically, that it's okay to no be. I've been going through a difficult mental state that I can't talk about with family. It's causing me to fall off the metaphorical ladder. I am trying to get back to my usual but I think it's important to try to get my mental and emotional state better.

This year has been so difficult for me. My husband started having unexpected seizures. I had to pick up a second job and it's so difficult with my schedule of two jobs to get that time and the motivation to get into a routine again. I'm trying my best to take the mornings that I can to get back into yoga and have a moment for me.

“I am safe” “ I am now” “I can” “1,2,3, GO!” I miss your videos and I really needed this! I started picking myself up out of depression in June through building healthy habits, reading self help books like Atomic habits, and therapy but in September I stated seeing a new trauma therapist and it’s been so heavy and exhausting but healing that I got off track. It’s been hard just to do basic hygiene and feed myself this past month. But I can do this! “Do it so you feel better!” Yes! I am feeling tender right now but I can do gentle and kind things for myself during this time and take care of me because I love me and I protect me and I keep me safe. Good luck to you all and I hope everyone is doing well❤️

girl you know I've needed this with a summer of emotional moving. I'm welcoming the coziest month! I have been shaming myself for not being "on it" " I just want to be in flow and routine!" - me crying the last couple months. finally feeling great and happy for my chaos time. I feel ready to be back on my routine and adjusted to my new Nashville life. (love it here btw!) 1. yoga flow 🍁 2.mediation 🍁 3. read 🍁 4. journal 🍁 Mantra: I am the creator of my life ✨ 💖

I really needed this because I've totally been out of touch of any sort of structure or discipline for about 3 months now. And when I'm not busy or don’t have some kind of discipline in my life, I tend to get quite unstable with my emotions, my mental health. Getting back into a routine is so so so hard but I believe I can DO AND ACHEIVE hard things . Thanks for always being the big sister on the internet Kalyn. 💕 3 things I need to get back on track : 1. My studies 2. Attending classes regularly 3. Getting back on journalling

Listened to this on your podcast, loved the reminders 💛✨ I like to rename routines as rituals: this helps me see them with the lense of spirituality, intention, investment, and just more romantic and fun. It’s not only for our future selves (which is definitely important), but for ourselves in the present moment, to just enjoy and love it (like you said)🙏

Hey Kalyn, I had to stop the video to write this. You have no idea how much I appreciate your presence, your warmth and your acceptance. You're a soft motherly voice when I don't have one for myself. Talking about how ok it is to not be ok and to fall out of routine and to emanate hope and light is precious. Hearing you say that there is no such thing as wasting your time, that it's passed and that I used it for what it was needed for hit me so hard I teared up. Thank you so much. Thank you for this reminder ❤️ I always want to do EVERYTHING but then manage half, get unmotivated, and then give up 🤦‍♀️ 3 things I've decided to focus on are: 1) sleep (generally) 2) walking the dog in the mornings (or going for a walk at lunch if I'm at the boyfriends) 3) not being on my phone during work hours Bonus: reading in the morning, so I'm not craving my phone during the day (the difference it makes in my focus is actually quite phenomenal) It really shouldn't be that hard but omg for some reason it's taken me MONTHS to nail down the first 2 and I'm a menace for procrastinating on my phone 🤦‍♀️ I've finally accepted I have anxiety and I've tried medication which seems to make everything a bit easier (funnily enough!) I only notice the difference when I'm like "why am I spiralling right now? Why do I feel so anxious? Why did that make me SO sad?" Then I think a bit harder and it's like... yep forgot to take my brain tablets last night 🤦‍♀️ I hope I'll get to the point where I can manage myself mainly bc I'm struggling with the IDEA and long term side effects of taking medication, but for now.. its the best of a bad job. If anything, my hormone birth control pills have probably damaged my body enough, so I don't see why I'm fixating on brain pills messing me up too 🤦‍♀️it is what it is, me without them is worse than me with them 🤷‍♀️ I guess I just have to keep telling myself that

I love your videos so much. I’m going to start getting back into meditation and yoga. There are a lot of other things that I want to get back into a routine with but I feel like starting with something that’s good for the mind body and spirit all together is the perfect starting place. I miss who I was when I meditated everyday.

Being a homeowner isn't all that it is cracked out to be. It has its benefits. We also had to replace our furnace and our ac is on the fritz. We had to rewire our house before it burnt down. It was not cheap. But better than burning down. And now we have some plumbing issues. But I still love owning land. You are definitely not alone.

I love this video so much. But I'm in that weird phase of burn out but also needing motivation to keep going because I have so much to get done and so much responsibilities to fulfill. I feel like I'm in this tug-of-war phase where one side of me wants to not do anything and the other wants to be this badass motivated human... I cant seem to know how to balance the two :/

When you were talking about action words it made me think of the Action card in my self care wisdom card by Cheryl Richardson. On the back of the card says "Baby step are still steps and they are better than standing still.

Love this coffee talk, got so much motivation to get up early in the morning. But I’ve always had trouble waking up, I need some real tips to be able to get up. Once I’m up, I just know I’ll slay my day!!! 🤙🏽🤙🏽

This might sound counter intuitive but maybe you need to allow in time to wake up early? Some things that might help are those sunlight alarm clocks and/or those alarm phone apps that are like ambient bird song that gradually wake you up? Personally I come from a family of early risers, however, the key is we wake up at like 6/6.30am, make a cuppa, get back into bed, and slowlllyyyy wake up for 30 mins. My mum reads, I journal (or watch KZfaq videos if I'm SUPER tired bc sometimes I just need extra stimulation) 😅 Idk maybe work out what it is that youre like "uuugghhh" about in the mornings and see if you can tackle it? E.g. cold floors, have a pair of slippers or socks handy, that sort of thing :) (I'm not perfect though! This is advice from me on a good day, despite my best efforts I sometimes sleep through my alarms) 😅

how do you always know!?! it's small but I've been off my healthy life style for two days to just not worry about food and I'm getting ready to get back into routine. then before when social media was just over helping me you posted about not caring what people think and unplugging....
